December 7, 2017 at 7:24 am #885957My client has a site built using the Enfold theme by a previous person. The person never entered any of the license info for the theme so it has never been sitting with no updates and no has some weird issues that I know a theme update can problay fix. I finally was able to get out of my client’s previous person some kind of receipt that she claims is from purchasing the Enfold theme for my client and an API that is to connect and verify the purchase to get the theme updated (from Themeforest). I have tried a bunch of things I found online for people stuck with updating the Enfold theme and have asked for a second API from the previous person just to make sure that part was good but nothing changes anything. I registered for the account using the theme info for my client so I know something is good. Can someone help me figure out why Enfold does not show any updates? I would love to figure this out for her. December 7, 2017 at 3:56 pm #886136Hey Sarah, Please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients if you do not receive auto updates and make sure your API key is correct: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/. If it does not help, I am afraid you might need to update the theme manually – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ Unfortunately not all Server environments are able to make use of the auto update feature provided by ThemeForest.
