Hi,
We have a new site build on Enfold that we just took live. It’s at https://www.rpgres.com and looks fine on all browsers except IE. I can’t get it to load in ANY IE browsers. It just spins and spins and spins. Any clue what could be causing this?
Thanks!

We have an update that we will release soon in direction of fixing the IE issues.
Best regards,
BasilisJune 17, 2019 at 5:56 pm #1111066Thanks Basilis. When do you expect that update to be released?

We do not have a date yet.
Best regards,
BasilisJune 18, 2019 at 7:32 pm #1111446That’s disappointing to hear. We have a site using your theme and it is not working at all in IE. It seems that you are acknowledging that this is a theme problem, but have no timeframe on a fix. Is there any code we can add to the theme itself in the meantime to get it to work in IE? This is major issue.
June 19, 2019 at 5:01 pm #1111623I just wanted to re-iterate that the problem is that the site won’t come up on any version of IE that I have tested. It just acts like it is loading and loading and loading, and then nothing comes up. This is why it is such an issue for us. Thank you.
June 19, 2019 at 5:05 pm #1111625You can disable “Page Preloading” in the Enfold theme options until there is a solution/fix (or til IE looses his last 3% market share in the next couple months).
June 19, 2019 at 5:18 pm #1111634Thank you – that helped at least get the site loaded in IE! The video background is not working, but at least I am getting somewhere.
I hear you on IE eventually goes to 0% – it is the problem child for developers everywhere. Of course, our client happens to be viewing his new site on IE, so that is tripping us up. He is the 3%. Thanks again!
June 19, 2019 at 5:33 pm #1111639I figured out the video issue with some previous workaround info from past support tickets. All is good now.
June 19, 2019 at 5:39 pm #1111641Regarding video-background in IE11 … spontanously I can think of two possible reasons for it not working … maybe you can check those without too much effort:
1. Is it a mp4-video and does the video has the correct codec? => MS H.264
2. Funny problem with IE and video: IE can’t show videos bigger than 1920×1088 pixels … if it’s bigger on one side, the video won’t work … stupid IE … :-)

Edit: Ok …. you got the video working … i was too slow … :-)- This reply was modified 5 years, 6 months ago by cg.
June 19, 2019 at 5:41 pm #1111644It ended up being the settings on the Color Section. I had to remove the 100% minimum view height (and set to no minimum) and then had to change the view to fixed.
