Dear Support,
As soon I installed the latest enfold theme my wordpress site started consuming my server resources on a 100%. CPU usage spiked and my dynamic aiva folder grow indefinitely. It got so bad that I had to wipe my server…. I came across these these threads:https://kriesi.at/support/topic/dynamic-avia-problem/
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/dynamic_avia-making-way-too-many-calls/I tried a fresh install where I selected *Unique timestamp of merged files and WP object cache bug*, this stopped the creation of new files however my CPU still spiked to a 100% right away. Ultimately I ended up disabling compression which seems to mitigate the problem for now but to be honest this is a little scary to me considering the side had nothing else on it except this theme.
Do you have any guidance or recommendation. I like the theme and that’s why I paid for it, but imagine if I installed this on one of my live sites and it would have taken it down with the default settings….
Also I would still want to optimize my bundle if turning on compression is not possible.
Please advise and let me know if you need any other info.
Sincerely
-
