I have seen that the enfold theme has not been updated since 2019. Is this theme no longer developed. Adjustments to wp5. 6 would surely be necessary or?

The latest Enfold update was released on October 5th 2020. We are going to release a new update within 2 weeks which will be bringing up PHP 8 and WP 5.6 compatibilities :)

Sorry, downloaded the the theme from themeforest. Then would like to install it on my new wordpress installation.
Did not work.
The following errormessage occurs:

That usually happens when upload_max_filesize is smaller. You can check file upload size in Media > Add New and see your current Maximum upload file size.
Please make sure your server settings match following
Set max_input_vars to 5000 and memory_limit to 256M.
Max_execution_time = 30
Max_input_time = 60
Post_max_size = 32M

I was able to make the FTP adjustments. Unfortunately this had no effect. In wordpress can still only upload media with 16MB. I have sent you now anyway the access data and ask you to upload the theme via FTP and include in the WP.

FTP logins unfortunately did not work for me. Could you please check them once again?
Updating the theme should not be an issue as long as Personal Token is inserted in Enfold theme options – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/ but first we are going to need to install the theme :)

I checked the login with filezilla. It worked. I added some special parameters and reentered the password. Please check again.

I tried saving theme options and it worked for me however your token is missing. Could you share your token privately so I can try inserting it in Enfold theme options?

I went to theme options to insert your token however I see that in the meantime, you have successfully inserted it :)
We are going to release new version of Enfold within 2 weeks. You should receive the update notification then and can update the theme from WP dashboard :)Regards,
