We have a dozen enfold websites that are out of date. We are not getting automatic updates for the enfold theme. All our other themes we use give us update notifications. We use a tool called ManageWP and Enfold does not come up as needing updates. Why doesn’t Enfold alert us for updates? When we punch in our themeforest username and password we then have to check manually for each of our website to check for updates. We see there are updates when we manually check – but why isn’t this an automatic alert?
February 27, 2016 at 12:10 am #590067If you go to the Enfold theme dashboard, there’s a place to put in your Themeforest username and API key – once you do, you’ll get update notifications just like the rest of WordPress items.
February 27, 2016 at 12:20 am #590070Yes that is the concerning part. We put in the theme forest username and API and we continually have to manually update. It is not automatic and we do not receive alerts.
February 27, 2016 at 12:21 am #590071In ManageWP or in WordPress? We get our notifications in WordPress regularly.
February 27, 2016 at 12:29 am #590076In both. How do you receive the updates? Through email or through the dashboard?

March 1, 2016 at 4:11 am #591299Hi @118group,
You can try this plugin to clear WordPress transients: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/. I’m not sure why it’s not working with ManageWP but services like that do not always work as you might wish. I use MainWP myself a lot to run updates and more often than not theme updates will not show up in the dashboard of MainWP and I will have to go and do them manually in the actual site dashboard.
Thanks,

If you look at the screenshot link above, that is the actual WordPress Dashboard. It shows a very outdated Enfold version, and says it is up to date. It’s been 3 days, and I am expecting at some point a representative will respond with relevant information? We have paid for many licenses for this product… ?

March 2, 2016 at 7:30 am #591916Hi,
Ok, did you try the plugin I recommended and did it work out for you? If not then please try to update manually: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Please note that when you or someone else replies to your thread it sends it to the back of our support queue.
