I had a site created a few years back with the Enfold Theme. I am unable to access most parts of my site to make edits and keep getting “Fatal Error” responses. I was told by GoDaddy that I need to update the theme. I am not sure if that will keep the integrity and appearance of my site or if that would even solve the problem. Please advise.

Yes, that version of the theme is not built to work with WordPress5+, you definitely need to update it, but before you do, please make sure you have a full website backup ready and that you’re running php7.2 or higher.
