    Hi,

    I installed the enfold theme with demo 2017 content and modified some of the pages for our new site.
    When we test performance on google PageSpeed insights we get 3/100, on Pingdom we get performance score of D.

    Wordpress, Enfold and plugins are all updated to latest versions.
    I have enabled WP super cache, Smush, BWP Minify, tried changing the default performance settings but nothing is working.
    We are running the site on Azure with dedicated VM with SSD. I have another site on there with good scores.

    Also I had to install a plugin for permalinks as I couldn’t get the URL to display pages without the /pages/pagename.
    Can you provide advice?

    Hey babaracus,

    You can see exactly what is being loaded and for how long in the test in private, I would suggest that you don’t give too much attention to Google PSI if all you want is a faster site. The wait time from the server is very high, I would suggest that you contact your hosting provider about that.
