I recently purchased a regular license version of Enfold responsive multi-purpose theme, which I received as a zip file attachment via email which I saved it on my laptop. I tried different methods of uploading it to my host (and WordPress). The theme wouldn’t upload using the script provided by my host (xelmedia.nl). So I tried (S)FTP (Filezilla) and the following are the methods I used which FAILED:
1) Uploading it in it’s entirety as a zip-file;
2) Uploading it in it’s entirety as an extracted file;
3) First extracting the zip file labeled ‘enfold’ which was located in the original extracted file (themeforest-4519990-enfold-responsive-multipurpose) to a file inside the original file and then trying to upload the entire unzipped file.
Wordpress kept telling me that the theme missed Style sheets and Templates!
(I even tried method 3 plus extracting the zip file labeled psd files assuming Style sheets and Templates belonged to Photoshop?)
The method that worked:
1) Uploading the zip file labeled ‘enfold’ located in the original extracted file.
Though the theme is now up on WordPress and my host, I have a suspicion it’s not the full version of the theme I saw in the demo and why I bought it in the first place! It seems like I only have access to the most basic functions and options! There’s only so little I can edit and change in the theme and on my website! Will you please let me know if:
1) If I got the full version via email?
2) If yes, what am I doing wrong when uploading the theme to WP and my site? What do I have to do to get the full version uploaded?
3) Are the options and possibilities there in the Enfold theme which I’m somehow missing?
4) Is there a concise manual/tutorial somewhere for the Enfold theme I can read or download and may I have a link?
Thankfully Yours,

Can you post the link to your website please? Please note that we may need a temporary admin login as well.
Cheers!

Have you tried to import the dummy data on Enfold > Import/Export panel? If you have the latest version 3.0.2, you can download the new demos. This will give you the closest possible layout that you can see on the theme demo. Please take some time to review all of the resources in the Theme Documentation. A lot of basic stuff like theme installation, element configuration, options overview, css snippets and whole lot of handy stuff regarding the theme are probably available in there. You can watch video tutorials or get hold of a few hooks and filter functions that may help you modify the theme as you like. You can also search the forum for any related questions or issues. Regarding the child theme, please refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/
If you don’t find what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you. For any complicated questions or add-on, please visit our Feature Requests page. Thanks!
Cheers!

November 4, 2014 at 11:12 pm #346201Hey!
All downloads of Enfold are managed and hosted by Themeforest and we therefore have no control it.
The issue you have reported has not been reported by users and therefore we cannot assume anything wrong with the downloads.
This is why I have asked you upload the files you have received to your server so we can verify from our end that nothing is missing.
In case you wish to continue with the install, please make sure that both enfold and enfold-child folder are present in your theme directory. For a child theme to work, the parent theme, in this case enfold, must be present in the theme directory.
Cheers!
ArvishNovember 5, 2014 at 4:22 pm #346602I cannot upload the child-theme to my site for you to verify it! If I could upload the theme I wouldn’t have to have this discussion with you!
WILL SOMEONE OTHER ARVISH PLEASE RESPOND TO MY QUESTION?
Once more my simple request:
My child-theme will NOT upload because it MISSES Style sheets and Templates! I cannot therefore upload it, as Arvish suggests here, for you guys to verify it indeed uploadable!November 5, 2014 at 10:45 pm #346813Hi!
Please upload Enfold.zip file somewhere on FTP and tell us where so we can try installing the theme for you.
For your information, “Stylesheet Missing” is a common issue ( https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821510 and http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/how-to-fix-broken-themestylesheet-missing-wordpress-theme-issues/23755 ) and should be corrected by installing the theme via FTP ( http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/).Regards,
