    Hello,
I just purchased the enfold theme again for another site. I am trying to import https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/
However, my import is not the same as the example theme. It looks something like the theme at https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/ but is missing features, styles, images etc. Plus, It is missing Woo Commerce setup examples which I need. I downloaded the plugin and tried installing again. No luck Can you help me get this imported correctly?
    Thanks,
    Keith

    Hey Keith,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

The demo links above are the same. Which demo are you trying to import?

You can use the following plugin to reset the database or the WP installation. Try to import the demo again after the reset.

    // https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/

    Best regards,

    Hi Ismael,
This did not work. It broke the installation. I had to delete and reinstall WordPress. Now I am back to square one where I was before.
Can your assist with installing this theme https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/ with Woo commerce and all examples installed correctly.
I also tried to import Enfold 2017 and it would not import.

Note that I have done this many times as I have at least 8 instances of Enfold running. However, something is not working right this time. Can you assist?
    I have Woo Commerce installed.
    Thanks,
    Keith

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

Looks like you managed to import the demo successfully, aside from the menu, which is currently displaying all pages. We can try and import the demo again but we will have to reset the installation, remove the database and everything. Is that alright?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

I would prefer this be done correctly. If you look at the example theme (https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/) and compare them side by side, you will see that they are very far apart. Everything is larger in the example. As I said before, the styles and images did not copy over correctly. My designer is queued up waiting for this but I would prefer that we get this imported correctly before they start.
I have tried everything that I can. Even deleted WordPress and tried a clean install, I tried FTP, Nothing I have done is working. Something is wrong at a level I cannot fix and do not understand.

    Hi,

Yes, we understand. We would like to ask again if we could reset the database and import the demo again from scratch. Would that be OK with you?

Regarding the images, they can always be replaced with the actual images that you are actually going to use for the site. They are there as placeholder and most of them will probably be replaced as you go along building the site. The styles can also be adjusted in the Enfold > General Styling panel.

We cannot try the import again without your permission.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Yes. You have my permission to do whatever it takes.

    Hi,

We are about to try and import the demo again but we have found a few third party plugins that are already installed and when we check the front end, this is what we get.

The demo seems to be working or displaying properly aside from a few missing images. What is missing here? Please note that some of the images in the demo may not be included in the import due to copyright or license reasons. But all of the images that do exist in the demo after you imported it should be free to use.

Please compare these two sites side by side. You will see the difference.
    Example Site – https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/
    Portable Whole House Generators https://portablewholehousegenerators.com/
If not, let me explain again.
    1) Everything on the example site is much larger. navigation, images, layout, text, Everything. The install looks bad next to it.
    2) The bottom section is missing. (under the reviews)
I am not worried too much about the missing images but I am worried about the small size compared to the example.
    Thanks,
    Keith

    Hi,

    Thank you for the info.

1.) The font size on the demo and in the actual site is actually set to 12px, and the size of the images are the same but some of the images in the actual demo are not free to use, so they are replaced with other images. A few sliders are also not included because the images are subject to the same copyright issues. The container also has a maximum width of 1130px and the header is set to shrink on scroll.

2.) Looks like the “IN CASE YOU NEED HELP” section is missing and is replaced with a slider. You can recreate the layout using 1/3 columns with icon boxes inside and use the logo/partner slider element to recreate the slider containing logo images.

Aside from the missing images and a few missing elements or section in the home page, the demo and the actual site have the same layout, theme options and used the same templates and/or combination of elements.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
