Tagged: 500 error, broken website, php incompatibility
My site recently went down and gave a 500 error. I contacted my hosting provider, who reverted my WordPress to the default theme and told me that there’s an Enfold theme compatibility issue with the PHP (PHP 8.2 (ea-php82)). I haven’t updated my site in quite some time, so I thought it was an update on the host’s side but they said they haven’t made any recent updates.
My site pages don’t work with any other theme so I really need to make sure I can get Enfold back up and working as my site now looks like a one-page blog. Thanks.
Hi serinlan,
Can you try to change it to PHP 8.0?
Best regards,
Nikko
Hi Nikko, changing to PHP 8.0 didn’t work.
Hi,
Please provide us with admin WordPress login details in private. Also share server error logs with us, preferably in a link from an external source.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi, I somehow missed this. How/where can I provide details in private? Can’t seem to message you.
Hi,
When you reply on the forum, there is box below the public message. Please post the login details there.
Best regards,
Rikard
Ah, I missed that before. Well, I was having WP errors so I contacted my hosting provider and they actually fixed the issue with the theme as well, so my site is working again! The last time I asked them to help they removed the theme entirely but now it seems Enfold is working.
Hi,
Glad to hear that you have this sorted out, if you have any further questions please create a new thread and we will gladly try to help you. Thank you for using Enfold.
Best regards,
Mike
