Our issue started a little over a week ago. We have a Contact Us page on our website where we were attempting to swap out a Google Map with just a standard image. When we did so, the white background turned dark gray and everything on the site went full width, as if it were ignoring the margins.
We reverted the change and everything was fine.
Yesterday we updated Enfold as well as WordPress and began updating some of our portfolio pages. Portfolio pages that had their full width image changed yielded the same problem; however, we were able to replace images on other portfolio pages that were not the full width image at the top and the page didn’t break.
We thought it was just with full width images, until we added a video to one of our pages. We didn’t, technically, add a video.. we simply changed the URL to point to a new video. The preview showed everything was fine, but when we updated the page to push it live, the video that we changed suddenly went full width, the background went gray and margins were ignored.
We did a rollback to when everything was working and was stable. Any idea on what can be causing this?December 16, 2017 at 12:02 pm #889523Hey johnwaterblasting,
Thanks for the login details, though the contact page looks fine on my end. I’m guessing that is the reverted version? Maybe you could create a test page where we can reproduce the problem?
Best regards,
RikardDecember 18, 2017 at 3:18 pm #890037I went ahead and created one.
The Contact Us page is a reverted page. I included a link to a test of our video podcast page. The issue also occurred when we tried to change the URL of the main video. The video caused the page to also go full width with a gray background.December 18, 2017 at 4:17 pm #890049Better yet, I went ahead and reproduced the issue for you.
On our video cast page all I did was add an additional smaller video below and changed the URL of the main video and the template broke. This way you can see an example of what is happening.December 18, 2017 at 7:37 pm #890203Hi johnwaterblasting,
You have the image with hotspots on that page without an actual hotspot. It breaks the template, can you add a hotspot or remove that and us another element for the image.

VictoriaDecember 18, 2017 at 8:50 pm #890237Thanks Victoria, that seemed to work. Is this a known issue because I remember using Image with Hotspots before without any hotspots and it never broke the template.
December 19, 2017 at 3:59 pm #890549Hi johnwaterblasting,
Well, if you don’t need the full functionality of the component, then maybe something else should be used, right?
Glad you got it working for you! :)
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
Victoria -
