Hi,
I would like to buy the Enfold theme, but first I have a question.
If I already have hosting available and a domain (not purchased via WordPress), can I still buy this theme, edit it and add it to my CPanel? What are the editing options?Thank you,
MihaiNovember 16, 2015 at 1:43 pm #536461Hi Mihai!
Yes, you can simply install WordPress to your server and then install Enfold just like any other WordPress theme. If you would like to install it via FTP, please refer to this video tutorial – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/install-enfold-theme-with-ftp/
Cheers!
YigitNovember 16, 2015 at 1:55 pm #536472Mihai Catalin TeodosiuGuestHi,
Ok, I will try that from my Cpanel right away.
One more thing – I see the Enfold theme is sold through Envato, which asks me to choose between a regular and extended license.
I don’t want to use the theme in an end product and sell it further, I just want to use the website/theme to promote and link to my Udemy courses, podcasts and so on. I should be ok with a regular $59 license, right?Thank you!
November 16, 2015 at 1:59 pm #536475Hey!
Yes, you can use a regular license.
Let us know if you have any other questions :)

YigitNovember 16, 2015 at 6:37 pm #536782Mihai Catalin TeodosiuGuestI purchased the theme, downloaded the zip file, installed WordPress in my cpanel, then went to the cpanel wordpress section and tried to “Add theme” and upload the zip file, but it just says “Are you sure?” and no options are shown, just some kind of return button.
Then I went to File manager into cpanel, uploaded the zip file, extracted it into the public_html/wp/wp-content/themes folder, then when I go to the wordpress admin panel, to Appearence/Themes, it shows the Enfold theme, but after hitting Live preview it is just a basic page.
Then I tried uploading and unzipping only the “enfold.zip” archive to the same folder in cpanel, still showing just a basic page or something, not the entire theme itself.
Any ideas what should I upload to cpanel?
Thanks!

November 16, 2015 at 6:50 pm #536802Hey!
Are you logged into WordPress dashboard? If you have, it should look like this – http://i.imgur.com/LgLbMVd.png. You can simply go to Enfold > Demo Import tab and import needed demo. If you need any help, please create a temporary admin login to WordPress dashboard (in Users > Add New with administrator role) and post it here privately.
Cheers!
