Hi,
I’ve installed Enfold and the demo content.
However there is no visible slider. I’ve searched the documentation and can’t find information on where and how to configure the homepage slider. Can you please let me know where I find it?I’m talking about the slider that brings different elements on the screen over time, and they have transparent backgrounds allowing them to appear to slide on top of and behind each other.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Don,
I’m not sure which slider you mean, but it might be the LayerSlider? If so then you can find it in the Media Elements tab in the Layout Builder.

I am using Enfold 4.5.2
When accessing LayerSlider WP… I put the activation code (see private content)(from my download folder)….wait 2 days….and still not working. I tried several attempts.
“Your purchase code appears to be invalid. Please take special care to enter it correctly without accidentally including spaces or other additional characters. Please note, you can’t activate LayerSlider with your theme’s purchase code. This can also be a temporary issue in our services. In that case please try it again in a few hours.”
Any ideas?

Thanks for the update, but the LayerSlider is bundled with the theme and cannot be activated unless you have a separate license for it. You don’t need to activate the LayerSlider to be able to use it.
If you need help with your actual site then please post a link to it so that we can have a closer look.

I have created a test page please check the link in private content area. The Layer Slider is working fine.
Did you select the correct slider from the drop down?

I am unfortunately really struggling here. When I use the Advanced Layerslider, and select the only slider I have created, it does not appear on my homepage. I have tried to include it in the code by inserting the link on the homepage, but that doesn’t work either. It typically shows the background, and a second slider (with the same background() duplicated over top. I am really trying for days now, repeated testing to no avail. This slider should have been part of the template. Please note, my slider only includes a background pic, and two png files that have transparency. Those png layers should be easy to place.
Can you just make the slider show on the homepage for me? That is the only thing I ask.

Sorry for the problem. I activated the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options, removed the Layer Slider on the front page and saved, then added it again. That seems to have worked, please review your site.

Here is my new problem. At of Saturday morning everything was perfect. I started to think how can I add an accessories portfolio to each of the four items I created. So I installed some plugins….like the Porfolio Post….and eveything kind of went crazy. I had to uninstall the plugins I installed, and everything is back to normal, except one problem.
The portfolio (product) page, used to show the four items, all with a brief description. It appears correctly on the “Page” set up. But, the site didn’t navigate to that page anymore. It bypassed the page and went straight to the portfolio items, all on the same page. I reverted back a generation, and that helped. However, no on the portfolio page, the summary of my four items shows, but when I click on them, they do not forward to the link as indicated. I checked the links, and they are the links shown in the portfolio item description. I cleared cache….but I can’t get it to work again. I looked everywhere, but don’t understand how the page won’t direct to the one indicated in the portfolio item. Even if I drop that name directly in the address bar, it says page not found. hmmm

by the way….first i have to correct the problem above, and then get back to my wishes for an Accessories page. For each of the four items I have in the portfolio, I would like to create an accessories page full of add-ons that go with the product. Once I have all of the accessories for all the products, I also want to create an accessories page for the entire store where they are all in the same place. Can you suggest a method for this? thanks
donOh boy. Here we go again. The Layerslider was working great. I had the 3D sliders all going in random on every slider page. I simply added a layer to each slider page (watermark), and then the 3D sliders stopped working. I can’t get them to start again. I’m getting very disgruntled with either this theme, or wordpress in general. I don’t like how small changes tend to blow everything up.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

donOK, no my 3d sliders stopped working completely. I only get 2d. I was able to clear cache on your server, and then on my side, and it worked for awhile. But, it stopped working again. Do you think I should just buy the slider? I don’t know if your included slider is the issue or not, but I can’t keep having these problems, please help.

donI noticed 3d sliders started working again….for no apparent reason. I thought you did something. So I went to look at the code, just barely moved my layer object, and saved….now it doesn’t work again. oh brother….
