    Hi Guys!

I’m having problems with setting on/off some buttons on my blog posts when I use the Advanced Template Editor. When I use Avia to format my blog posts, for some reason the “by default” social sharer buttons of Enfold appear to be disabled. Instead, when I write blog posts with the regular editor, the buttons are clearly there. I have installed Shareholic for these posts, so it’s not much of an issue, but I do prefer to use the ones by default included in Enfold as it looks leaner.

Thanks a lot in advance and grats for the great theme!

    Regards,
    Miguel.

    Hi Miguel,

Can you give us a link also, where it appears to be disabled?
Just post it in private content.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hey Nikko,

Thanks for your fast answer. I will add two different posts so you can see the difference. I realized there are more things missing when I edit my blog posts with avia, please find them below:

    – Date/Author details on the upper side
    – Excerpt of the content NOT displaying on the Blog page
    – Content tags below the content not displaying
    – Header image not displaying on top of content

I would like all of this to be displayed on my blog entries when I edit them with Avia.

    Regards,
    Miguel

    Hi,

Yes, those do not ” miss ” but this is how it is designed to work ;)
For all those to be displayed, you would need to code most of the things.
IF you do search on the forums, you can find the details.

    Example

Let us know if you do not find something and we will be happy to help further.

    Hi Basilis,

Thanks for your answer, although it’s not very useful. The main thing is that I can edit the content in a much nicer way when I use Avia, but I see that for the entries within the blog frame is not useful at all because it disables all the blog style setup: cannot access to related entries, cannot see details, images, excerpts, etc.

I mean, clearly I have searched for the answer before posting a new thread on the forum. The only solution I see is going back to normal editor when talking about the blog entries. No worries.

Thanks anyway for your attention guys.

    Regards,
    Miguel

    Hi Miguel,

I’m not sure this was communicated by us or if you didn’t understand it, but when using the Layout Builder for posts then all content needs to be added manually, and that includes the sharing buttons. Did you try to add the Social Share Buttons element to your posts?

    Best regards,
    Rikard
