Hello!
We are doing a new portal using the Enfold theme and we would like to put the separators into our pages to improve it design.
When we put it using Avia, it doesn’t appear (it appears just a blankspace, where the separator should be), and if we choose for appear a icon in the separator, it appears just the icon and the separator still unvisible.
Can you please help us to make it appear?
Thanks.July 13, 2015 at 8:42 pm #472669Hi Rodrigo!
Are you talking about lines between the menu items? Go ahead and take a screenshot highlighting exactly what your trying to do so we can get a better idea.
I tried viewing your link but all I see is this.
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/websia/domains//public_html/prne/index.php:3) in /home/websia/domains//public_html/prne/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1196
Are you sure Enfold is activated?

We aren’t talking about the lines between the menu itens. We’re trying to add the separators into the pages, like you can see in attach they doesn’t appear.
If you could help us to do it, we’ll be very grateful.

I would have to see it in action. I noticed I can view your site now but I could not find the area in your screenshots. Can you send us a link to the exact page?
Other than that, I would try adding it inside a 1/1 column element to see what happens.

I tried to check the screenshot but it was private so I checked the link above but I can’t see any separator there. I tried to login so that I can create a test page but the login credentials above is not set as administrator. Please use imgur for the screenshot or set the screenshots to public.
Cheers!

Thank you for the screenshot. The separator markup is not there when I checked it. What happens when you move the separator inside the color section?
Cheers!

I have a problem with whitespace. I couldnt find a way to create a new topic so I am writing here although it might not be the same issue.
I am trying to add whitespace or 25px (typed 25), but it is too much. I tried typing -25 and -50 and nothing changes. I can increase the space, but I cannot ,make it smaller.
Thank you

please deactivate all plugins to check if one is causing this issue. When the error continues then there might be some corrupted files and in this case you need to delete all theme files via FTP before getting a fresh copy from your themeforest account.

AndyAugust 19, 2015 at 3:07 pm #490111Hi Andy!
I did deactivate all plugins and the separators still not working.
I’ve got some custom php files, like page templates… Is possible to keep it?

Try adding this to your custom CSS.
.hr-inner { border-top: 1px solid #e1e1e1 !important; }

ElliottAugust 20, 2015 at 4:19 pm #490877Hi Elliot!
Thanks for your reply!
I did put the code that you send to me into a .less custom file and the divider appeared!
Also, on the customization it accept just the parameters of width, and change its icon. It doesn’t accepts custom colors.
The content of the file (with your code already on it) is below:
.stretch_full { height: 150px; h1.main-title.entry-title { display: table-cell; height: 90px; vertical-align: middle; } } .stretch_full.cloud_sol { height: auto; } .hr-inner { border-top: 1px solid #e1e1e1 !important; } .avia-menu.av-main-nav-wrap { ul { li#menu-item-55.current-menu-item { a { span.avia-menu-text { background-color: #831719; } } } } }
Thank you very much for your support!
August 21, 2015 at 3:40 pm #491453Hi!
It’s not letting me login anymore, is the information correct?
You had some CSS with an !important which appeared to be from the minimal border styling your using for the menus but when I tested it out on my XAMPP setup I wasn’t getting the same CSS. Did you do some customizations?

ElliottAugust 21, 2015 at 3:51 pm #491463Hi Elliott!
We did activate the maintenance mode for our development area and the testing area.
Sorry for it… I did check your credentials and updated it with the password that i did sent to you, anyway.
Also, we have custom css and JS in running on this theme. If you like i can provide the files for you check in some service of cloud… Whichh one you prefer?
Also, we activated the maintenance mode, to block the site for visitors while it is under development.
Is just necessary do click on the lock on the upper right corner to login again in wordpress and your credentials will work.
Thank you very much for your support!

Go ahead and upload a fresh copy of the theme to see if it’s your CSS/JS customizations which are causing the problem.
I could not reproduce it on my XAMPP setup so it’s likely they are.

April 2, 2016 at 9:43 am #606916Hey I found a great work around for this problem..
Use a grid row.. be sure to set your cell padding to ZERO top and bottom and then you can control the grid row minimum height to give you an exact pixel count control over how bit the white space is between other grid row elements or colour boxes etc..
cheers
