    We updated Worpress and Enfold to the latest version. If i want to add a new post there is an JS error and i cant do anything more. Same with the settings page from enfold theme. Changing to other theme an the error disapeared.

    Hi freiland-hamburg!

    Enfold is definitely compatible with 4.0. First try deactivating all active plugins you have running and make sure you are using Enfold version 2.9.2.

    Hi,
    i had deactivated all plugins. problem is still there.

    Syntax error, unrecognized expression: a[rel=]

    even if i activate the original enfold theme. we had build a child theme for update reasons.

    something is searching for a[rel] tags an didnt find. hope you can help.

    ok, im using Enfold Version 2.9.1
    But in the Theme Options it says: No Updates available. You are running the latest version! Great!

    so i will try update manually

    Updating through FTP its always safer and more reliable, refer to this guide on how to do it.

    I’m seeing the same thing, I’ve manually updated to v2.9.1 and running WordPress v4.0 on GoDaddy windows hosting.

    All plugins disabled, alternative themes work just fine.

    Note that it isn’t just the theme interaction that is broken the widget screen loses all click and drag related events.

    Here is the error from Chrome v37.0.2062.124 m developer console.

    Make sure once again that you have downloaded version 3.0.1 from ThemeForest and then try deleting the theme entirely and re-uploading it to your themes folder.

    The error was specifically addressed in 2.9.2 and beyond.
