Our site was moved to another hosting. It was running fine on both HTTP and HTTPS before the move.
Now it only loads normal using HTTP. If we open it using HTTPS, we get a bare site, stripped of all styling.
When we look at the source HTML, we see that everything that is loaded in the page headers still tries to load using HTTP instead of HTTPS.
A test for mixed content says everything is OK. No mixed content on the site.
If we set the option to automatically redirect to HTTPS in our hosting control panel, all scripts and CSS in the header still tries to load using HTTP, so we get the stripped site again.
If we set the Home/Site URL in the WP settings to HTTPS, the site completely refuses to load. It says something about too many loops.
We manage more than 20 similar sites using Enfold, and they all switch correctly between HTTP and HTTPS, except for this one.
We updated to the latest version of WordPress, PHP and we were already running the latest version of Enfold. Nothing helped.
Update: the problem was solved by itself after a couple of hours. Nobody really knows why :-)
Hi,
I’m glad this was resolved. If you need additional help, please let us know here in the forums.
Best regards,
