We created our Website with Enfold – Responsive Multi-Purpose Theme and updated to WordPress v5. Now the Editor pages are looking different.
This is a page edit window of our website and it looks fine
This is what the Editor looks like when we click on the text block
This is what the visual Editor looks like
When I click on this blue framed area
It brings up the Editor WITH THE TEXT EDIT MODE but for the whole page
In the past, we did not have the classic Editor at the top when editing a post. Now it’s there and means we need to scroll down. I don’t know how it appeared or why. Would like the original Editor layout again.- This topic was modified 5 years, 6 months ago by mocablue.
May 31, 2019 at 2:20 am #1105541Hi:
Maybe this will help.
If you visit the settings of the Enfold Theme Options page, down near the bottom there is a dropdown box to “Select Your Editor”. It should be set to Classic Editor. Hope this helps.

Have you tried switching to the classic editor in the theme options as suggested above?
Best regards,
VictoriaJune 1, 2019 at 9:12 pm #1106180that did not accomplish what I want. the classic editor shows up BUT i want to use all the tools from the Avia editor and the options in there. I can not get it to show up properly in the edit page or new page windows… please help.
we are using the most recent version of wordpress
June 1, 2019 at 11:48 pm #1106195is there anyone who can help us with an answer today – are AVIA toolkits for developing and posting no longer compatible with wordpress 5+? some one please help we really loved the post and editing tools that came with enfold and its one of the reasons we opted for the theme
June 1, 2019 at 11:55 pm #1106197here is an example of a new page and you can see the very rudimentary editor and there is no AVIA interface available to do the more complex pages that we used to be abel to do with enfold
June 2, 2019 at 12:30 am #1106203i reinstalled the theme and that seems to have fixed part of this but made new problems will post separately about that
June 2, 2019 at 10:42 am #1106308Hi mocablue,
Glad you got it working for you! :)
On the screenshot above is the Block editor, you don’t have an option to use the Advanced Layout Builder when this editor is enabled.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
