I am looking to get my menu positioned from the top & not full width is this possible with this theme?
See attached visual of what i am looking for: http://prntscr.com/8yw1dj
I have highlighted the menu in the red box.
November 4, 2015 at 1:17 pm #529970Hey Andre!
Thank you for contacting us!
Yes, that is perfectly possible with Enfold. You can set your header to transparent and set header style to “Logo left, menu below” option in Enfold theme options :)

Can they also be dropdowns if needed & can these also be styled?
November 4, 2015 at 1:31 pm #529988Hey!
Yes, you can display border between menu items and since it is actually Enfold main menu, that menu can display child and grandchild menu items in a dropdown :)

YigitNovember 4, 2015 at 1:48 pm #530000AndreGuestGreat can this all be done in the theme or will it need me to edit the theme files?
Or will it need some CSS edits?
November 4, 2015 at 2:14 pm #530013Hey!
Only some CSS edits, you would not need to modify theme files for these changes :)

YigitNovember 4, 2015 at 5:31 pm #530266AndreGuestThanks Yigit, look i don’t want to be a pain but i have just put together the mobile & desktop versions of how i want the theme to be styled & see if this is possible. Note the difference between the BG on the desktop & mobile, can this be done with some smart CSS?
And the difference between the home & navigation pages.
Also can the mobile menu be positioned & styled like this?

November 5, 2015 at 4:55 pm #530945AndreGuestHello did you get a chance to have a look at the above questions?
November 5, 2015 at 5:02 pm #530957Hi!
No, you are not being a pain at all :)
Footer menu would not show up as your example but all the other things are possible with custom CSS. Elements will be the stacked the same way.Best regards,
YigitNovember 17, 2015 at 1:36 pm #537265AndreGuestGood morning Yigit, i am now ready to start this project & have finalised my visuals with the client. Would you mind reviewing the visuals attached & confirm that all is achievable with your theme:
mobile: https://invis.io/6B4M6WICW
tablet: https://invis.io/NJ4Y450KX
desktop: https://invis.io/HP4KCK7XYThanks in advance.
November 17, 2015 at 2:35 pm #537283Hey!
On tablet version, there are 3 blocks with images on the left and text on the right. That section would be just as on smartphone, image on top and text below. Other than that, it is achievable.
Best regards,
YigitNovember 18, 2015 at 4:59 pm #538315AndreGuestThanks Yigit i have purchased & installed the theme now can you advise which demo data would be best to import into my theme. Once thats done can i contact you to customise the menu?
November 18, 2015 at 5:08 pm #538324Hi!
Great! Thank you for choosing Enfold :)
You can actually start with any demo you like the best it would help you getting used to Advanced Layout Builder.
For you homepage, please edit it and choose to display Transparent menu – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-header-configurator/. Then add Color section element to the top of your page and set it to 75% of screen height and set custom background image. Right below it, add a 1/1 column element and add your text and button and then edit that column and set top margin to a negative value so it would overlap the image above it. Right below your column, add Blog Posts element and choose to display a grid and choose 3 columns. Below Blog Posts, please add three 1/3 column elements and place image, text and button inside each of them and finally at the bottom, add a button element.
After making these changes, please register to our forum – https://kriesi.at/support/register/ and start a new thread – https://kriesi.at/support/forum/enfold/#new-post and mention my name (Yigit :) ) and my teammates will inform me and we will continue there.
Best regards,
Yigit -
