I’ve been using Enfold for a number of websites and am currently rebuilding a website using a previously built site and remaking it into a new one for another client. When i preview the page it looks perfect, but then i save the page, it looks completely different at the bottom including and after the “PHOTO GALLERY” is only about 2/3 wide and has the footer embedded in that bottom section. It looks really weird and is not representative what is programmed.
– I have provided access to the back end below.
– A friend with lots of Enfold experience said I should completely rebuild the page.
– Please note, I am not a programmer, but a graphic designer relatively proficient with Enfold and my html and CSS programming skills are limited. Please help me figure out what is wrong here.
Thanks, Ullrich
May 27, 2019 at 5:15 am #1104415Hey Ullrich,
Thanks for the login details and sorry for the late reply. Your footer layout looks normal on my end both on the back- and front-end. Did you manage to get it working?
Best regards,
RikardJuly 15, 2019 at 9:59 pm #1118968Hi Rikard – thanks. i think the problem was we installed the latest version of enfold and it was not compatible with wordpress. so we installed an earlier version. not exactly sure as i had a programmer do it.
now i have another preview page problem. this page looks fine in preview, but the code gets all mixed up when i save the page. what can i do to fix it. this appears to happen from time to time and sometimes i can fix it. this time i cannot fix it.
sorry my caps key is not working and needs to be fixed.
thanks for your help.

We solved my latest problem. It was caused by text that had “<2” embedded in it. When we changed it to “<2” in the html text. This solved all the dysfunctionality on that page.
Thanks, Ullrich
July 18, 2019 at 7:00 am #1119796Hi,
Great! Glad to hear that you figured it out. It’s true that adding comparison symbols can break the content of the advance layout builder. Unfortunately, we don’t have a fix for that yet, so you just have to avoid doing that.

IsmaelNovember 4, 2019 at 10:45 pm #1153784Now we have another problem with Enfold on another website.
– The preview looks perfect and the saved version is wrong.
– This time the text all goes bold in the saved version, yet in the preview is it not bold – the way we want it to be.
– We have provided access info in the private content section. Please review and let us know how to fix this.
Thanks, Ullrich Schade

We fixed the problem. It was in the header slider, we inserted <strong/> instead of and it made the rest of the page bold.-
