    Hi there,
I have a couple of issues I need to fix / adjust with the portfolio features:
    1) It seems like when I select a category and start viewing through the pictures – I am still getting pictures that are outside the selected category (I expect it to filter the results but it doesn’t seem to do that!)
    2) When I look at a specific image in the portfolio (as it opens in lightbox) I want to have the option to zoom in to full scale (have another expand button at the top that would turn into a reduce size once clicked and all that) –

Is there something I can do within the settings / code to achieve these things? Alternatively, can you recommend another? Plugin that would integrate well with enfold and allow that?
(I need both the masonry look with filter ability & and the lightbox with inner zoom to full scale, would rather use portfolio than gallery type components).

    Thanks!
    Amir.

    Hey!

    1. I checked your site but I see 3 images and they all appear to be assigned to “2010” or “2011” so it appears to be working fine. Which one is it that does not belong?

    2. The magnific popup script we are using doesn’t appear to have that option. You could try disabling it and inserting your own plugin such as prettyPhoto.

    Cheers!

    Thanks Elliott,

With [1] I meant that if I filter to 2010, the image that is assigned 2011 (and that disappears once I click on 2010) – should be skipped when I am looking at the images in lightbox as I move one by one – you’ll notice though that all 3 pictures are listed and appear as you circle (next-next-next)… [on the same not if you select 2011, only one picture should be available in the slides – AKA filter] :)

Regarding your suggesting for disabling magnific and replacing it with prettyPhoto, how would I do that? what are the technical steps? also – have you tested prettyPhoto? (comments on wordpress.org review say for example that it does not support mobile…)

    Hey!

To replace the popup script, go to Enfold and uncheck “Lightbox Modal Window”, then install the new plugin. Automatic lightbox activation will be handled by the plugin, although it should do it by default on all images.

    Best regards,
    Josue

that did not seem to work :(
see test link with credential for your deep look in private

also please confirm the issue with the scrolling through the selected category in the portfolio (always going through all the pictures and not just the selected category as explained above).

please advise ASAP – I really need to resolve both issues before the weekend.

    Hi!

I checked your filtering and it’s working fine for me. We can’t provide support for 3rd party plugins and you would need to ask plugin’s author about it. Try out different plugins. If you need to feel free to hire someone for this job here: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization

    Best regards,
    Andy

    A) I don’t know how you checked the filtering and why you would say it worked fine – the code was messed up completely but just to be VERY EXTRA clear here is a video to show you it’s now.
    a. You will notice that no matter the filter choice – there are always 3 pictures available for show in the lightbox stage – you can “next- next- next” through all of them no matter if it’s “all” / “2010” which should only show 2 OR “2011” which has only 1.
    How is this OK?

    B) The alternative plugin was your colleagues suggestion and if you would stop alternating who answers the post maybe I can get a complete answer :|
    a. I don’t really care which plugin I use – that particular plugin was suggested by you as I said
    b. All I need is option to enable expand of the image into full scale zoom once it’s open in lightbox (like the example I gave of the original HTML)
    c. If your own plugin does not support it, and a common plugin that should work – does not, I may have to ask for a refund and this seems like a very simple and trivial thing to give up on using your theme – no?

    Hi!

I understand your requests but i’m afraid we won’t be able to assist you further as it would be considered a ‘customization service’ which falls beyond support scope, please refer to what item support covers here:

If you’d like to get a refund, refer to:

Please see my comments in the private section and lets try to address conclude this as best we can.

    Hi,

Sorry if i sounded harsh in my last reply, but yes i’m referring to both, i’ll try to explain and provide an alternative that could suit your needs.

The first issue is not exactly a bug but more of a expected behavior, the thing is the lightbox script gets activated on page or ajax load, not on portfolio sort, meaning that it will catch all the images present on the page (on that moment) and build a gallery with them, also when you sort a portfolio the unsorted items don’t get deleted from the DOM, they’re just hidden, so exclude them from the lightbox is harder.

An alternative could be to use AJAX portfolio approach, this would solve the first issue as the navigation does gets built with the current portfolio items being shown.

    Regards,
    Josue

Well, you are taking a harsh stand but it’s your right to draw the line but forgive me for insisting – you addressed 3 lines out of the 13 I wrote to you.

Sure, you can open one here:

Hope you manage to get this resolved.

Amir, Did you ever sort your issue number one out? I have just bulit a hug lovely website, and realised this major issue with the lightbox not showing JUST the selected category – any advice? Stella

    #540601

I actually quit Enfold over this who process, so I didn’t get to investigate any further.

I later found the plugin “Nimble Portfolio” which I use with a different theme – but can’t say how it works with Enfold.

    good luck!

    #540615

Thanks for the tip, will look at that.
I made the pages manually in the end using the contents for each sub category, so still using content from portfoilio – bit fiddley but works ok, I emailed the codeable people and they said they could fix for 355 dollars. Do you use another theme? Thanks again stella
