    Hi

    I’m updating a website to the Enfold theme and elements are displaying incorrectly.
    http://pr-matters.co.uk/

    For example:
    1. social media icons in the bar above the header & the socket display as text links.
    2. Header & nav menu are out of alignment with the main content below.
    3. Easyslider on home page displays dots & next/previous even though these have been hidden in the configuration.
    4.Promo Box text on client pages links to Linkedin social media account … even though it hasn’t been configured to do this.
    5. Left padding has disappeared in drop-down nav menu.

    These issues have me foxed?

    I’ve installed Enfold on other sites without any problem. This website for PR Matters has display issues :(

    I’ve tried fresh installations of Enfold & WordPress, disabled pugins, cleared cache files … the display problems remain.

    Could you have a look and let me know if I’ve missed anything, please?

    enthusiastically yours

    Oliver

    P.S. The site has an active ‘Maintenance’ plugin. The maintenance screen disappears for logged in users.

    Hey!

    I found the answer & fixed my errant display issues. I checked the site’s wp-config.php file and found many lines of random numbers and code inserted between line 1 and line 2.

    When I deleted the random numbers/code so that the first two lines of the wp-config.php file look like this:

    <?php
    /**

    Then everything in the Enfold theme displays correctly. Phew!!!

    enthusiastically yours

    Oliver
