Hello dear team,
for a new customer we would like to install the Enfold theme with multilingual functionality (4 different languages).
I learned that the most popular (and probably the most efficient) way to use multilingual sites is the WPML plugin: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/which-wpml-multiligual-plugin-is-right-for-me/
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/multilingual-press-pro-enfold-multisite/
Is that true? Or is there another solution you can recommend for a multilingual WordPress site using the enfold theme?
Thanks in advance for your responses.
Rainer
Hey Renko!
As stated here https://kriesi.at/support/topic/recommended-plugins-last-update-04-09-2013/ we recommend WPML plugin. You can try other plugins as well but we cannot guarantee that there will not be any compability issues.

Hey Yigit,
thanks for the info and the link.
Do you know how WPML handles the problem, when the different languages have different structures of the site? For example »Product 1« have to be displayed only on the english and german site but not on the spanish and french site. What I mean, is there an option not to display some menu points on different language sites or are all menu points there but some have no content?
Thanks again for your great support.
Rainer
Hi!
1) Yes WPML will take care of that. The flags won’t be displayed if no translation exists.
2) WPML is the only plugin which we officially support at the moment. However I now started to test this plugin: http://marketpress.com/product/multilingual-press-pro/?noredirect=en because some users asked me if I can recommend the plugin and version 1.1 also worked for me when I used it with Enfold.
Cheers!
Peter
Great, thanks for the additional info.
Wonderful support you are providing.
Have a nice day,
Rainer
