    We are using custom post types along with the Avia Builder and it works great! Thanks so much for that option. While we are able to upload a featured image when editing our CPT, the featured image is not included in the single post display by default. It appears correctly when using Enfold elements (like Masonry, or Magazine, etc.) however. We are not using a special content template, but rather the default post templates.
    How can get the featured image to display rather than having to manually add an image element to our post? (Which causes duplicate images elsewhere.)

    Please update to Enfold 3.1.3.

    Does the featured image work for your CPT with a default WordPress theme?

    How are you creating the CPTs? are you using a plugin or anything?
    Please take a look this on how to create CPT:

    Hope this helps.

    Don’t forget to check if clearing browser cache makes your featured image show up.

    as I already asked you in my previous post: Does the featured image work for your CPT with a default WordPress theme?
    Because I don’t think it’s a theme-related issue, that’s why I gave you some links for a different approach.

    Andy, that’s why I refered to the gist provided by Josue. Yes, the featured image works in other themes for my CPT. I think its because we are using the ALB with a CPT. Would you agree?

    Hey!

    you are totally right, when using ALB you won’t be able to set a featured image the default way. Instead you would need to add it manually with ALB.

    I guess it’s not really relevant in this case when the checkbox is removed, when it happens only for your CPT built with ALB. If it happens for posts/pages using the default editor as well, then please provide us admin access, so we can have a deeper look into it.
