i encounter the same problem as this thread https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-masonry-problem-safari/
The masonry element is not showing the thumbnails on safari at ios device on first load…. However if you make your screen slightly smaller or bigger or rotate your device, then they start to show.
my ios devices are iphone 6 and ipad air 2.
the page on my site is http://cotik.lvsanweb.com/cases/you can check this out
http://cotik.lvsanweb.com/cases/April 27, 2015 at 4:33 pm #435383Hi!

Regards,
YigitApril 28, 2015 at 7:57 am #435834i use 3.1.3 which is the newest.
please find the issue and give me a solution.April 29, 2015 at 2:24 pm #436674Hey!
Maybe, this will work:
add_action('wp_footer', 'ava_auto_resize'); function ava_auto_resize(){ ?> <script> (function($){ var int = window.setInterval(function(){ $(window).trigger('resize'); }, 1500); $(window).load(function () { setTimeout(function() { clearInterval(int); }, 3000); }); })(jQuery); </script> <?php }
Remove browser cache then reload the page.
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 1, 2015 at 5:20 am #437898i tried the code but the issue is still there.
have you reproduce the issue on your side?May 4, 2015 at 4:23 pm #439028Hi!
I checked the actual page on an iOS device (iPod) and the masonry items display immediately on initial load. Please remove browser cache then reload the page.
Cheers!
IsmaelMay 6, 2015 at 7:15 am #440145but on ios 8 iphone6 and ipad air 2, the issue is still there.
May 6, 2015 at 6:23 pm #440558Hi!
I checked your website on my iphone 5s and it does work fine on my end – http://i.imgur.com/hceCs5O.png
I asked @rikard to check it on his iphone as well. Please kindly wait to hear from him.Regards,
YigitMay 7, 2015 at 12:54 pm #440899ok. now i find the problem more specifically.
firstly the issue has disappeared from iphone . it will only appear on ipad (in my case it is ipad air 2)secondly.
on my ipad. if i access my home page first (which is http://cotik.lvsanweb.com),then access the issue page (http://cotik.lvsanweb.com/cases/ ) through menu (the third item on menu from top), the problem would appear.but if i access my issue page directly (http://cotik.lvsanweb.com/cases/ copy and paste the url to safari) , the problem will not appear.
May 8, 2015 at 5:46 am #441375Hey!
I followed your instructions on an ipad mini using latest version of Safari, this is what I get on my end: imgur.com/qfzKTKO
Regards,
RikardMay 9, 2015 at 9:31 am #441919hi.
i tried this again in 3 different ipads.
in ipad first generation which is running ios 5.1,everything is working fine.
but in ipad third generation( or called new ipad) and ipad air 2 ,two of which both are running ios 8.3,masonry items can not display properly at first loading if you follow the steps i specified at above reply #440899.so i think there are some conflicts with new version of safari.
can you reproduce it at ipad with ios 8?
or should i shot a video to demonstrate the issue?May 12, 2015 at 7:43 am #442822Hi!
I’m sorry but I don’t have a device with ios 8, my old iPod wouldn’t be able to handle the upgrade (-_-“). Anyway, I’ll ask Kriesi to take a look. Did you remove the browser cache before testing the page? Is this also happening on chrome in your ipad?
Regards,
IsmaelMay 12, 2015 at 7:52 am #442824yes. i have remove cache. and everything is fine in chrome in my ipad, only safari had issues.
May 12, 2015 at 12:57 pm #442967Hey!
In the meantime, can you please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps?
Cheers!
YigitJuly 24, 2015 at 11:18 am #478132Hi giys, I’m having the same issue on iphone 6 only (tested fine on iphone 5) – the content doesn’t load on first instance – but if accessed through the dropdown it starts working. I’ve already debugged – updated the theme and turned off plug-ins. Any ideas greatly received – thanks
July 24, 2015 at 3:40 pm #478220Hey!
Can you please firstly update Enfold to the latest version 3.2.3 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/?
Best regards,
YigitAugust 8, 2015 at 10:22 am #484772I’m having the exact same problem – latest iOS on iPhone and iPad Air.
Everything is up to date (theme version, iOS version). I have to scroll down with my finger before any images render.
Can we get this looked at please?
Thanks

August 10, 2015 at 8:22 am #485077Hi,
It looks fine on my end using ipad mini/safari, in what browser are you getting this error?
Regards,
RikardAugust 11, 2015 at 8:24 am #485765Its on an iPad Air and iOS on the iPhone6 using the very latest iOS versions. I have tested the issue in one of the shops that sells iPhones and it does it on that too – so a completely random handset.
Thanks for your help.

EdAugust 14, 2015 at 4:06 am #487531it has been so long since i posted this issue.
and you still didn’t fixed it.it is too disappointed. have you even successfully reproduce this issue on your side?
remember this issue is specifically on safari of latest iphone and ipad ios (ios 8.3 or 8.4 i think ).
please do not ask us to turn off plugins or update to latest version again, because we have done that already.November 4, 2015 at 4:50 pm #530212Hi guys!
We are still investigating and did not forget this thread but I am afraid we require more information from other encountering the error, since we can’t reproduce it.We will let you know if we can find whats causing the issue and why it only happens for some of our users…
Regards,
KriesiNovember 18, 2015 at 2:17 am #537763I am having a problem with the Iphone 6s the browser is inside of yelp and it is making my website look like this.

@natejohns3 Your issues does not seem really related. Can you please start a new thread?Regards,
YigitMarch 8, 2016 at 9:57 pm #595197Hi, I encounter the same problem.
On iPad the masonry elements do not always show.
1. I don’t see the animation as it should (coming in one by one, like it does on safari macOS)
2. Often the elements remain blank and I have to tap the menu again or somewhere on the page to actually see them.
They are there, just not visible. This only happens with masonry elements. I’m pretty sure it has to do with the animation since it doesn’t animate as it does on chrome and safari for desktop.
Please check this on iPad and iPhones. I read numerous threads about this, but running all latest versions I still see this problem persists.Thank you

March 10, 2016 at 1:46 pm #596273i have been waiting for solution for almost one year.
March 15, 2016 at 12:37 am #598059Hi!
@songjiekun You are currently using an older version of WordPress and not sure which version of Enfold you are using since you edited the file. Please make sure to use WordPress 4.4.2 and Enfold 3.4.7. Enfold 3.5 will be released soon, hopefully in a week.
@spiv Please make sure that you are using the latest version of Enfold and WordPress – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. If that does not help, please start a new thread.Cheers!
YigitMarch 15, 2016 at 11:24 am #598307Hi Yigit
That doesn’t fix the problem – it still exists.
I have had to remove all masonry galleries to avoid the issue.
Just so you know
Regards
EdMarch 15, 2016 at 9:22 pm #598613I second this. I am always using the latest version of Enfold (I also stated this in my post), certainly when I discover a bug, I make sure I’m fully up to date.
This issue has never been solved and it is not solved in enfold 3.4.7. If so, please let me know what code changes have been made to the theme to solve this bug.
It occurs on Iphone 6s running latest iOS, it occurs on iPad gen 3 running latest iOS.
The hard part: it doesn’t happen always consistently. a simple refresh can solve the issue.
In which code part are the animations killed? Because on Safari they have an intro animation in which the elements fall in 1 by 1 in a 3d effect. These animations don’t show on iOS. All images simply fade in at the same time when loaded. I’m sure there is a problem in that code that alters this animation for iOS.
Because in those occasions I don’t see them, the items are loaded, but they just appear invisible. Thanks for looking into this

March 19, 2016 at 10:45 am #600654Hey!
Sorry for the delay. The issue is quite random and there are no errors which makes it more difficult to debug. Aside from that, we can’t reproduce the issue on our devices. A quick workaround is to disable the animation on mobile devices, please try this:
@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) { .av-masonry-entry { opacity: 1 !important; visibility: visible !important; } }

IsmaelMarch 23, 2016 at 1:32 pm #602499Hi Ismael,
This solves the issue. So now you know for sure where the problem is.
Question: Leaving out the above solution, why remove the full animation on tablets? The only thing I noticed was they all faded in at once on tablet/phone.
I have asked this before, where exactly are the animation changes done for mobile/tablet? I would like to try if the same problem happens when we allow the same animation as on desktop sizes and not alter anything for tablet/phone.Thank you
