Hello I am having an issue with the layer slider and i tried everything nothing works.
I migrated from a domain to another, the banner works on the old hosting but it stopped working on the new hosting
I tried the export / import it did not work.Can you help please? thank you

Please switch to default twenty thirteen theme or any other themes then switch back to Enfold.

YigitI’m having same problem. Installed Enfold new, using child theme and slider just vanished and will not display on front end. I duplicated the back end slider, renamed it and still no luck.
Changed themes – input my api and username again, refreshed cache and still no luck.Any suggestions?

That kind of customization is far beyond what we can assist with through support. You will need to look into a freelance developer from somewhere like Microlancer, Codeable or even http://kriesi.at/contact/customization .
If you are still having issues with the slideshow showing we can assist with finding what the issue is there.

I understand that re-installing means activating a different theme then delete the Enfold theme from the server then upload theme again and activate it? If yes, then i tried doing that but no luck. I am wondering why it is working on the old hosting but not the new one?I also deleted the theme from the server and uploaded the original theme which I extracted from the zipped file that I downloaded when I purchased the theme and still no luck.

Can you please post the login details here? We would like to inspect the LayerSlider WP. Please post the login details for the old and new domain. Set it as a private reply. Also, please edit this page: http://wcreativestudio.com/wcs/, remove the LayerSlider element then put it back. Select the slide that you want.

Since I don’t have access on the database, please try this one. Go to your Enfold database via cpanel > phpmyadmin. Look for the wp_layerslider table. Select all the slides then export it using XML format. Go to the new installation then import the wp_layerslider xml file. Make sure that all assets like images are in the proper folders and with the proper file name.

IsmaelThank you Ismael, I was able to export the wp_layerslider table from old hosting/database as.xml should I go and import the .xml in the new hosting datrabase or import in that in the admin panel? when I tried to import in the new database, I got an error message I think .xml is not recognized, I think it only takes .sql

You should export the slides inside the wp_layerslider not the wp_layerslider table. Have you tried that?

Problem solved! I think the problem was with the database. When I exported the database from old site and imported in the new site, the tool I used exported everything expect the layerslider table for some reason, I had to export that separately and import it to the new database, the slides did not show so I had to recreate them.I appreciate your help!!
