Hello,
I am attempting to use the Image with Hotspots to showcase some facilities on an image of a map. I have pages setup for the facilities, and would like for when a user clicks on the name of the tooltip it opens in a lightbox rather than a new window. Currently there are only two settings, open in same window, open in new window.
Would appreciate some guidance.
Thanks,
Hayden
Hi haydaw!
Everything is possible, but that would need a lot of work to be done.
You can contact one of our Customization Contractors, who will help you out with the process.

Let us know if we could do anything else, regarding our theme

Hey!
If you append ?iframe=true
to the link, it will try to open it as a lightbox popup.

I don’t mean to hijack this thread but I’m trying to get the same effect. I thought it’d be as simple as adding ?iframe=true to the end of the URL but that didn’t work. How do you append an iframe to a link?
Hello Schenko,
I wasn’t able to get this completed on my own, but hired a developer and it was taken care of within a day, and reasonably priced through http://kriesi.at/contact/customization
It requires some extra PHP to be implemented, if you have the understanding of this let me know and I can send you screen shots of what my developer did and maybe you figure it out from there. I believe it’s only roughly 60 lines of code in total. This also gives you the backend option to select “open in iframe” rather than making it the default, perfect if you’re handing over to a client.
You can see an example of what I did at http://vintechplastics.com/about-us
Thanks for your quick response, haydaw! I have a rough understanding of PHP but willing to experiment. Would you be able to send me the code to (Email address hidden if logged out) ? Much appreciated!
