Enfold Header and Footer Sizing

Hi, I’m working with the enfold theme for a client and they have some specific requirements, however I’m not familiar enough with coding and can’t find the css to edit for this theme.

1. We are using the social media bar above the header to also give the phone number and they would like this larger – I tried to add a header widget instead but can’t position it above the main menu.

2. They would like the footer area to be smaller

Are you able to give me the css to change these things please or at least point me in the right direction – normally I have been able to access the style.css, and copy the elements from it but can’t here. Also should I be using the child theme? This is all new to me as I’ve only worked with very simple themes before.
