Hi guys,
This could be you just jogging my memory but before we had to pick an editor on Enfold settings, we had the classic editor plugin and under every post on WP admin list of posts we had the option to edit with Gutenberg or the Classic editor.
How can I get the option to be active again?
I’d like to use Gutenberg for the posts and the classic editor for the existent pages and Gutenberg to create FAQs and How To pages. Yoast updated schema for Gutenberg only (FAQs and How To pages) I’d love to test a couple.
How can I set the theme so I can get the choice of editors again?
Thank you!
Havi
PS: This happens on all my sites.
PPS: Are you planning on integrating Enfold with Gutenberg like Avada did and released today? I have been a fan of Enfold for years but my clients are putting pressure on me for this and I cannot blame them. Help! Loooong time fan!August 9, 2019 at 10:52 am #1126157Hey Havi,
If you are running version 4.5.2 or higher then you have the option to pick your editor in the main page of the theme options.

I didn’t see your extra questions. We don’t have any plans on integrating the Enfold layout builder with Gutenberg, they are two separate layout builders as we see it.

If I choose the Gutenberg editor and re-install the classic one, would I be able to see both options even if I am using the latest Enfold version?
Yoast is only concentrating on Gutenberg for their schema updates – and I’d like to take advantage of that for some posts and pages. That’s why I want to have both options available. I want to test the results.
Regarding the integration, I thought you had plans to add the Enfold shortcodes to the Gutenberg editor. No more? :(
Warm regards,
Havi

There are no options like that in the theme unfortunately, you would have to chose one or the other.
We might add blocks to Gutenberg yes, but as far as integrating both builders then that is likely to going to happen.

we would be very happy if Guttenberg Blocks would be integrated into the Avia Layout Architect. it would be very nice to use Yoast FAQ´s or other Plugin Blocks on website build with enfold!
Best

Thanks for the feedback. We’ll look at maybe implementing that in the future.

RikardOctober 11, 2019 at 12:31 pm #1147102That would be VERY VERY useful for all who want to use Yoast and the “FAQ Block”.
Another option would be to integrate an own “FAQ Block” into Avia Layout ArchitectOctober 13, 2019 at 9:55 am #1147530Hi Oversberg,
Thank you for your input. We will pass it on to our dev team.
Best regards,
