Hi,
As per the title, I am having a problem Grid Row padding when using images. I have attached a link to a screen grab that shows the problem: https://1drv.ms/i/s!AnfCo4UK3bBViZYKm9g8XiqQ3cIVcA – (I have also put the website IP and login in the private content section)
I want the image to fill the grid row cell that it’s placed in – however, the theme seems to automatically use padding. The padding settings for the cell are all set to zero and I have tried all variations of the image size and have also tried resizing the image so that it is exactly the same size as the grid row cell.
One thing I have noticed is that the extent of the problem with padding in the image cell varies when I change the (text) content of the cells either side of it. Also, the problem is much worse when viewing the site on a tablet (iPad). Some images that do appear fill the grid row cell on a desktop don’t when you view the site on a tablet.
Can you help?
Hey Mulholr1,
If you want the image to fill the whole grid then you will have to set it as a background. Could you try that out please?
Best regards,
Rikard
Hey Rikard,
Thanks for your response. The problem with doing it as a background image is you lose the overlay, caption and hover effect options. Is there a way to correct the sizing issue when using an image box in the grid row cell?
Regards
Hi,
Thanks for the feedback, but I don’t think it would be possible. Adjusting the images with CSS will cause distortion on the image, and I don’t think you want that?
Best regards,
Rikard
Thanks Rikard. I reverted to using background images in the end. Please feel free to close the thread.
