Hi there Victoria,

Yes I’d like just the one column as shown in a screenshot of the Kriesi Enfold footer that I’d like to duplicate:

and I’ve put the link to our website in the Private Content where you can see the ‘Email Address’ and ‘Sign me up’ button are stretched full width.

Hi Roanne,

The demo footer which you are referring to is actually a page used as the footer, so maybe you want to have the shortcode for that page so that you will get the same results? If so then you will need to activate debug mode first in order to see builder shortcodes: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode

Hi there Rikard,

Thank you for responding so quickly. I’ve managed to setup the footer pretty much how I would like it except for these 3 things:

1. My version on desktop unfortunately stretches the entire width for the Email Address and Signup button. I’d like to set both of these fields to around 1/3 of the size they currently are.

2. I’d like the text ‘Email address’ to be inside the field (as it is for ‘Sign me up’).

3. I’d like ‘Email Address’ and ‘Sign me up’ to be on the same line.

You can see an example of how my page is currently looking in the private data.

Hi Roanne,

Thanks for the feedback, wouldn’t it be better if you used the footer page with shortcode option though? You will get the same layout as in the demo. We can give you CSS for your current footer but it will take longer for sure, and I’m not sure if the placeholder for email address will be possible.

Yes you are right – it would be better if I used the footer page with shortcode option – would this apply to the entire site though? Or just one page?

I’ve activated debug mode in WP so I can see the builder shortcodes, but I’m unsure how to see the code within WP for the demo footer?

Hi,

Great, you can set the footer site wide if you go to Enfold->Footer and change the settings in the Default Footer & Socket Settings option. Before that you need to create a new page and paste the following shortcode in the box below the regular Layout Builder:
