Can someone help troubleshoot this for me. The Likebox widget for Facebook isn’t rendering in the sidebar. Not sure how to fix this.

January 28, 2019 at 10:58 pm #1059825Hey spyrzynski,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

February 1, 2019 at 6:04 am #1061368Hi,
Thanks for that and sorry for the late reply. The details are not working though, could you check and verify please? Also, where is the widget supposed to render?
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 1, 2019 at 6:53 pm #1061662I just tried the login credentials and they work on my end. Try again and let me know.
The widget is supposed to appear in the sidebar of blog posts. I’ll share a url in the private data section.
February 3, 2019 at 8:58 am #1062137Hi,
Thanks for the update, though the login details are still not working on my end. When I submit them it looks like they work, but I get redirected to the login page again and no error messages appear. Do you have any security plugins or country blocking which might cause that to happen maybe?
I see that the widget is not working on my end either, you are getting an error on the file in private. I’m not sure exactly why that is though.

RikardFebruary 3, 2019 at 9:23 pm #1062404Can you try the url in the private data section instead?
Will you be able to see what’s wrong once in the backend regarding the Enfold Facebook Likebox widget?
What do you think is causing the issue?
February 4, 2019 at 12:18 pm #1062630Hi,
Thanks for that, though the same thing is still happening. I just get redirected to the login page after logging in. I’m not sure if we will know the cause of the problem by looking at the backend, though it would help of course. Is the like-box for a page? If so then could you post a link to that page please?
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 4, 2019 at 6:49 pm #1062783The Enfold Likebox is a widget that Enfold has for both Facebook and Instagram. I have to widget set to appear on blog pages and the main blog page. See link in private data. All that Appears is “Follow Us On Facebook.” The Instagram widget works perfect but the Facebook one is not rendering.
Does Facebook have a way to paste a code for a widget that is similar?
February 5, 2019 at 12:47 pm #1063138Hi,
Ok, thanks for the update. Which Facebook URL are you putting in the widget though? That is what I’m asking. What happens if you use our Fb page for instance? https://www.facebook.com/kriesi.at
You should be able to add one manually if you prefer that, you would have to refer to the Facebook documentation for that: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-box-for-pages/
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 5, 2019 at 5:18 pm #1063229When the Kriesi Facebook page link is in the widget, the widget works perfect.
I’ll share with you the Facebook page link I’m using in the private data section.
February 7, 2019 at 6:14 am #1063839Hi,
Ok, then the problem is you page, it’s likely not published yet? When I navigate to it I get an error message on Facebook.
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 8, 2019 at 1:04 am #1064370I figured it out. The Facebook page had a country restriction that was preventing it from rendering in the widget.
When you said you couldn’t access the page that tipped me off that there was something about the page preventing the widget from working.Thank you for your help. I know this was a long process. Your assistance is much appreciated.
