    Hi, my WordPress updated to version 4.8.1, My Enfold theme is updated too. When I logged on to WordPress, I get the following error on my manage theme page:

    ERROR: Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet.

    Broken Themes

    The following themes are installed but incomplete.

    Name Description
    Enfold Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet.

    I needs assistance to fix it, without loosing all of the work that I have already done on the Enfold theme for my website. I am not a tech/wordpress expert, so I have given you all the for my WordPress site in the private content. Please can you help me fix this… I am clueless on where to even start!

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback. I can see the problem on your site. Could you try to delete the theme on the page in private, and then upload a fresh copy from your Themeforest account to see if that works please?

    If you can’t get it working then please upload the theme to a sharing space like google drive or dropbox and we’ll install it for you. If you have FTP details for the site then please send them in private as well.
