I have an issue where my authors are saying they can no longer edit posts using advanced editor or even add any URL links whether in advanced or basic editor this is using the Enfold Theme.
I have been able to go in and edit posts using Firefox, Chrome and Safari without any issues which is very strange as my team members can not.
Do you have any suggestions as to what may be causing this to the site.
Here is what the authors have listed as issues
Just wanted to let you know what issues I was having today with the back-end website so you can look into it:
1.cannot use the default layout editor to hyperlink any content unless its on internet explorer. The formatting for our blog is also off.
2.cannot use the Avia Layout editor at all, the only thing I can do is drag and drop a Colour Block and clone, but I can’t drag and drop text into the block etc
3.can’t upload any images as the background of a block, using the layout editor ‘colour block’ insert image option. Insert image just doesn’t work. I can’t even replace current images: e.g. The play button our the Our Story page.
4. As I’ve been typing the entire avia layout builder has stopped responding, I can’t even change a word in HTMLNovember 25, 2015 at 5:23 am #542117Hi Ron,
It sounds like a caching issue, could you have your editors remove their browser cache and reload the page to see if that helps please?
Regards,
RikardNovember 25, 2015 at 5:59 am #542130Hey Rikard
They already have, one author is using Chrome on a Mac and the other is using chrome on a PC. I have shown them how to clear their caches all the way back but they still seem to have the same issue.
Have you logged in and had a look?
Did you have any issues using the avia layout builder?

November 25, 2015 at 4:59 pm #542537Hey!
Yes, we have logged in and have not had any issues. Please see screenshot in private content field.
Can you please try logging in with one of their logins and check if it is a profile related issue? You can post it here privately and we can check as well.Cheers!
YigitNovember 26, 2015 at 1:21 am #542803Hi Guys here are the additional author details placed into the private area. If no issues are found would you recommend they use something like CCleaner from Piriform to really clear the cache or do you have another solution.
I also updated to 3.4.4 but it is still showing that the theme is 3.4.3 I used ftp to upload the files as it was not showing any new updates in the admin area for the theme.
Thanks for all your time and patience.

November 26, 2015 at 2:22 pm #543129Hi,
Here’s a link: http://magican.en.softonic.com/mac. It does what CCleaner does basically. I would get Leah to do the same thing as well yes :-)
Best regards,
Rikard -
