I have encountered the following problem: all Enfold websites I know are not rendered correctly in the Google cache. Sometimes no content is displayed (color sections?), sometimes icons are displayed incorrectly.
Steps to repoduce:
Search for a website of which you know it was made with Enfold on Google. In the snippet, click on the small arrow next to the page title/blue link. A dropdown should appear (“In cache”) – click it. Then you should see how Google renders the respective website.
Do you know this issue? If yes, how can it be solved?
Thx in advance!
Hey mrqslmk,
This seems like a problem with Google since I get the same results on other sites on the same search, like the one in private for instance. Most of the content is not displayed in the cached version, and the full content is displayed if you select to load the current site.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard,
thx for your response. Please don’t get me wrong – but the fact that other sites have the same problem may also indicate that they also can not be rendered correctly. From an SEO point of view, I should be guided by what Google can capture from my pages. And if they can’t get it right, I might have an SEO problem – and all other sites that were created with Enfold as well. Don’t you think?
Best
Markus
Hi Markus,
To me it looks like the cached versions don’t include dynamic content, that is not a theme problem. If you want to know more how the cached versions work at Google then I think you will have to reach out to them for clarification. You can then let us know what is wrong with the theme and we can make the necessary change to rectify any problems.
Best regards,
Rikard
