    Hi,

    Viewing the page from my end the demo seems to have been installed. Was this corrected?

    No I didn’t make changes. Just imported the demo…

    Do I need to activate somewhere? I don’t know what to do to make the demo working.

    You are allowed to import a demo by yourselves on our website!!

    Hi,

    I tried importing the demo but the server is throwing a 500 internal server error on the admin-ajax.php WordPress file. Could you try contacting your hosting provider to see if they can see what is going wrong please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    #864232

    Hi Rikard,

    It was a plugin conflict. All plugins are deactivated now.

    Hi,
    You are still getting a 500 internal server error on the admin-ajax.php WordPress file. Please try contacting your hosting provider to see what the server issue is.

    Hello Mike,
    I totally installed everything again. I deleted the database and installed WordPress and the Enfold theme again.

    I still don’t see the Demo.

    Installing the theme does work fine, but got again problems with installing the “Enfold 2017” Demo.

    I really don’t know want’s going wrong.

    Hope you can help

    Hi,

    Some servers do not support themeforest’s import process so you have to import the demo on a local installation and then transfer it to the live site. The following plugin will enable you to import/export the database.

    // https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/

    Hi,

    Yes, you have to import it but you have to do it on a local installation (WAMP OR MAMP) first because your current server is not compatible with the import process. If you’re not familiar with localhost, please refer to the following documentation.

    // https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/tutorials/installing-a-local-server/wampserver/
    // https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress_Locally_on_Your_Mac_With_MAMP

    Hi,

    @Aqtion
    : Please import the demo on your local installation first then transfer it on the live site as described in the previous post. The import process is not working properly in your server. If you’re not sure how to do this, please hire a freelance developer or contact our partner, Codeable.

    Hi,

    You can find the Demos of Enfold, under the Theme Options Panel, at your Dashboard.
    Let us know if that helps you

    Hi Basilis,

    #872983

    Hi,
    If your are running a localhost environment, you can still import the demo from within Enfold.
    The demos are at \enfold\includes\admin\demo_files\enfold-2017.xml

    Best regards,
    Mike

    This is the procedure that allowed me to import Demo Content Enfold 2017 on local MAMP:
    1 – import the demo from within Enfold xml file at \enfold\includes\admin\demo_files\enfold-2017.xml with WordPress Importer (this to import all file);
    2 – and then import Enfold 2017 from Dashboard/Enfold/Demo Import > Click to import on Enfold 2017 (this add all the Enfold setting).

    Maybe strange… but in my case it work :)
    Great Enfonl, great new demo… Kriesi team, thank you veri much.
