Hi Mike,
Thanks, but it still doesn’t work.
I do not get the Enfold 2017 Demo installed…
I am busy for two weeks now. I tried to install it 12 times now.
I would appreciate it if someone of Kriesi can have a look.
Find attached the login info.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Hayco

I tried importing the demo but the server is throwing a 500 internal server error on the admin-ajax.php WordPress file. Could you try contacting your hosting provider to see if they can see what is going wrong please?
Best regards,
RikardOctober 14, 2017 at 8:38 am #864232Hi Rikard,
It was a plugin conflict. All plugins are deactivated now.

October 26, 2017 at 5:08 am #869042Hi,
Some servers do not support themeforest’s import process so you have to import the demo on a local installation and then transfer it to the live site. The following plugin will enable you to import/export the database.

October 28, 2017 at 3:39 pm #869918Hi,
Yes, you have to import it but you have to do it on a local installation (WAMP OR MAMP) first because your current server is not compatible with the import process. If you’re not familiar with localhost, please refer to the following documentation.
// https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/tutorials/installing-a-local-server/wampserver/

@Aqtion: Please import the demo on your local installation first then transfer it on the live site as described in the previous post. The import process is not working properly in your server. If you’re not sure how to do this, please hire a freelance developer or contact our partner, Codeable.Best regards,

November 6, 2017 at 12:04 pm #872983Hi,
If your are running a localhost environment, you can still import the demo from within Enfold.
The demos are at \enfold\includes\admin\demo_files\enfold-2017.xmlBest regards,
MikeNovember 11, 2017 at 9:21 am #875434This is the procedure that allowed me to import Demo Content Enfold 2017 on local MAMP:
1 – import the demo from within Enfold xml file at \enfold\includes\admin\demo_files\enfold-2017.xml with WordPress Importer (this to import all file);
2 – and then import Enfold 2017 from Dashboard/Enfold/Demo Import > Click to import on Enfold 2017 (this add all the Enfold setting).Maybe strange… but in my case it work :)
Great Enfonl, great new demo… Kriesi team, thank you veri much. -
