Hi,
I have a hand full of custom post types set up and I need to use the Blog and Masonry elements within the page builder to display them. I have a couple questions and am a little confused. Link 1 is a page with 3 post types being pulled one.
News = Default Posts
Week in Review = Week in Review CPT
Events = Events CPT
Testimonials = Testimonials CPT
Deals = Deals CPTNews/Posts work just fine. I found a function that will let me add my CPT to the builder elements and it seems to be working ok but im seeing some things that dont seem right. I didnt need any custom taxonomies or categories for any of my custom post types but it seems like I have to have them if i want to use them in the builder. I created them and used them for Events and for Testimonials but I didnt create any for Week in Review.
My question to you is why will my Week in Review post type load in the builder element with no cat/taxonomy but my other CPTs will not load unless I add a custom tax/category and put all of them in to one tax and pull that in. When you login you should get a better idea of what im talking about.
Link 2 has my Testimonials post type loading on that page along with deals post type – Deals is not really an issue as I needed to add a custom cat anyway to separate them out a little.
But Events and Testimonials force me to create a custom tax to load in the builder elements and im trying to not have it that way. I need them to work just like Week in Review.
Thanks

I tried to check on the links you gave and the credentials however I’m only getting this:
Forbidden You don't have permission to access /news-events on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Can you post the function that lets you add your cpt to the builder elements?
Best regards,

Thanks, I see it now, however since the elements you are using requires custom category/taxonomy I can only say the easiest way to do this is to create a taxonomy/category so that you can use it.
Another way to do this is to create your own Advanced Layout Builder Element, basically you just copy from the element that you want to use then modify it to remove taxonomy/category, however this is a bit complicated and would require some time to do and testing, which is outside the scope of our support, the only thing we can do for now is to point you on the right direction, you can find the instructions on how to do this in the documentation: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#add-elements-to-albBest regards,
