My website is totally down due to problems with my Enfold theme. I know WP recently updated to 4.7, but I did not get a notification that there was an update to Enfold. Now I can’t update Enfold within WP because I can’t access that part of my dashboard (the whole site is down). I followed the instructions on updating Enfold through FTP, but I do not see a version.txt file in any of my Enfold folders. Do you advise removing all theme folders from my site and then reinstalling? Something else?

Everything has been resolved. My hosting service support suggested that I just remove it completely, re-download the newest version, and reinstall. They helped me remove all the previous theme files and I got it reinstalled and activated with no problem. It downloaded version 3.8 (on Sunday) and today (Monday) I got an email from Themeforest that there was an update to 3.8.2. That update went fine and all is working well.
