Hi,
I’m trying to hook my enfold theme contact form with Asana.
Purpose: This way I can have a task in Asana automatically created each time the contact form shoots an email to a specific asana email.
Issue is that it appears the contact form’s “Your email address” field is stripping away a piece of the email.
The email I’m sending to is looks like this: (Email address hidden if logged out)
the email that is sent out is (Email address hidden if logged out) so the x+ has been removed. (I know this because asana send’s me an error message), the x+ needs to be there.
I’ve tested with my internal SMTP plugin for WP through the test function and emails are being sent properly (x+ not stripped away). So I’m assuming that the contact form or enfold is somehow responsible for this.
Is there a way to allow the x+ part of the email to not be stripped away?
Thanks
Tim.
Hey epeakstudio,
You might want to stick to SMTP plugin, if it is working for you at the moment, Enfold contact form and WordPress use a php mail function and it has it’s limitations.
Best regards,
Victoria
Hi Victoria,
Thanks for your reply.
I’ve switched to Contact-form 7 for the moment as this goes through the right pipe.
Is there a plan for Enfold to make sure of the SMTP plugin instead of the php mail function?
I would much prefer to use the Enfold contact form which sort of fits better with the design of the side. :)
Tim.
Hi epeakstudio,
I am not sure this will be done soon, we can help you make your form look closer to Enfold if you really need that.
Best regards,
Victoria
