The contact form is not sending emails. I use Office 365. If I have it sent to another email (etc. Gmail) It works fine. I’ve tried Contact Form 7 and still the same. I’m about to pull my hair out…
December 1, 2017 at 1:28 pm #883890Hey marketingmojotn,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,
NikkoDecember 1, 2017 at 11:39 pm #884026Okay done… Just to let you know this is happening to all of the sites I’ve built with enfold. All the other sites are also using Office 365
December 3, 2017 at 6:56 am #884268Hi,
Thanks for that, though if you have already tried Contact Form 7 and it’s not working with that either then it’s probably a misconfiguration with your mail server or in Office 365. I think it would be better if you contacted your hosting provider about this as they are in a better position to help you out configuring your mail server.
Best regards,
RikardDecember 3, 2017 at 10:08 pm #884431Hi,
I did that already. I contacted godaddy because on other threads I saw that it might be a issue with the back end mail servers. They told me that its not a issue with them and that it may be a theme problem or a wordpress problem. I see many other people with this problem but on no thread do I see a solution. I use Enfold for how well its optimized and for the ease of use and customization. In fact if you look at my profile you can see I’ve bought it about a dozen times and currently its the only theme I use. I was hoping to find a fix for this. This is extremely frustrating. Please help.Thank you
December 4, 2017 at 7:37 am #884539Hi,
If your site is able to send emails to gmail addresses, then we know that there is no problem with that. So that should exclude the theme and WordPress itself in my opinion. I don’t know anything about Office365 unfortunately but could it be that there is a configuration problem with that?
Also, did you try to follow this? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/my-contact-form-is-not-sending-emails/

February 2, 2018 at 1:42 pm #906843Good morning, I have a problem with the MAIL GMAIL. As a setting on the contact page of my web page I have YAHOO.it. If a customer with Yahoo, Hotmail, MSN etc. contacts via contact page, I receive the email in my YAHOO box, and the customer receives the automatic reply. If the customer uses GMAIL, I do not receive the contact and the customer does not receive the automatic reply. The test was carried out by the customer with different EMAIL GMAIL but without success. I have carried out another test, where I have set up the GMAIL mail in the contacts of my web page. The result was bad. I did not receive contacts from anyone and the automatic replies did not send. The problem on my web platform is GMAIL, with GMAIL it does not send and receives anything …. I tried to update the theme ENFOLD and the error remained. I tried to insert the Contact Form 7 plugin and others but the problem is not solved.
I hope I can find a solution .. it’s 3 days ago.
Yours sincerely.

Cordiali Saluti.

BasilisFebruary 3, 2018 at 11:33 am #907201Hello, I contacted Siteground, the Hosting service currently active on my Web Domain. I have replied that not using the email @ new-generation-life.it, the problem is not attributed to the hosting. I also checked in the Spam folder of gmail and I did not find anything. I disabled the apache spamassassin on my Hosting, the result has not changed.

February 3, 2018 at 6:59 pm #907259Hi,
I have run some tests using a plugin WP Mail Logging and found that your mail is being sent to gmail from your site. I believe the issue is your email is being sent saying it is from (Email address hidden if logged out) yet gmail knows it is not from yahoo.it
Spam doesn’t always go into the spam folder, sometimes it deleted before it gets that far. I have two recommendations:
1: setup a email account for your domain, you can always forward that email to (Email address hidden if logged out) if you wish, but this will help authenticate your email, and may solve.
If not, then 2:
use SMTP for your WordPress outgoing email, here is a good article to help.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 5, 2018 at 12:38 am #907627I have the same problem where if I add an actual email to the website and a Enfold contact only the email link gets sent and the Contact form does NOT get sent even though it says it has. I have downloaded “WP Mail Logging” and I see the emails when I go to the logs. If I resend in “WP Mail Logging” the email gets sent. Please help as this was working before and this is a new thing and I have Enfold forms throughout the website. I have added a login for you guys to look for yourself in the private.

I just replied to your first thread, let’s stick to that. Posting the same question more than once won’t get you help faster.
