    The contact form at:
    peerlessservices.co.uk/contact/ stopped sending email after the upgrade to WordPress 5.7

    It gives the message:

    Your message has been sent!

    But nothing arrives.

    I upgraded to Enfold 4.8.1 and removed all plugins and still nothing arrives.

    Having rolled it back to WP 5.6.2, the contact form works again.

    I created a staging site at staging.peerlessservices.co.uk, upgraded to WP 5.7, removed all plugins and it does not work.

    It seems there is an issue sending mail using the Enfold contact form on WP 5.7

    Any ideas what that might be?

    I installed WP forms lite and this does send okay using this link:

    Test contact

    So it seems there is an issue sending forms via Enfold.

    My final bit of trouble shooting on WP 5.7.

    This form works and email is received using WpForms Lite:

    Contact 3

    This form uses the Enfold form builder and no email is received, even though it says it is sent:

    Hi,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the late reply!

    I tried testing sending an email using Contact Form element on WP 5.7 and Enfold 4.8.1 and I received my testing email. This does not seem to be a general issue and using SMTP may help but please also keep in mind that Enfold’s contact form is not as advanced as WPForms or Contact Form 7 :)

    Hi all,
    I had a strange issue: Transfered Website (Enfold 4.8.1. – WP 5.5.3 – everything worked, also contact form) from dev (php 7.3) to live (php 7.4)-Server.
    On live: Contact form didn’t work (no success and no sending email).
    Then updated to WP 5.7. Contact form didn’t work.
    Compared the php-versions. Changed php on live-server to 7.3. = contact form worked!
    Anybody the same problem? :-)
