    Hi Guys,
I have a client that is receiving the emails from the contact form but now the client has asked if we can change how the received email appears.
The form is a simple contact form and is displayed like this when receiving:

    Your Name: Joe Bloggs
Your E-Mail: J (Email address hidden if logged out)
    Subject: Joes Email
    Message: Joes msg here

They would prefer for the received email to display the filled in data below and not at the side. see example below.

    Your Name:
    Joe Bloggs

    Your E-Mail:
J (Email address hidden if logged out)

    Subject:
    Joes Email

    Message:
    Joes msg here
    ————-
I found this file and not sure if it is this file I need to change?
    \enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\contact.php

Really not sure why they prefer it this way but any help will be greatly appreciated. If it is possible can you please let me know what i would need to do and what i may need to change.

    Many Thanks
    D.

    Hey Dave,

The default contact form doesn’t natively support editing the outputted form information without custom code.

You can however try using Contact Form 7 as an alternative, or even better Ninja Forms which I believe does give you the option of formatting how it is received.

    Best regards,
    Jordan Shannon
