    Hi there!

This might sound funny, but it hasn’t completely made sense in my mind yet….

If I upload both Parent and Child, – co’s I’m planning to make several changes, then I realised I’m able to upload the CONTENTS to the CHILD theme, it is convenient at all?
I fear that if I activate the child and start building the site in there, then my Parent theme will be completely empty. Won’t it?

Should I first activate the PARENT, populate it with CONTENTS and then activate the CHILD to begin customising it?

Can I add all of the QUICK CSS to the PARENT to see them reflected on the CHILD or just migrate those codes directly to the CHILD?

    Thanks in advance,

    Best,

    Hey Harold,

Install the child theme as per the instructions provided here http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/

Activate child theme from > Appearance > Themes

Make all the code changes in child theme.

Add your custom css in Child themes styles.css

No need to activate main theme or add the codes to main theme but child theme only need the main theme to be present in wordpress themes folder.

    Best regards,
    Vinay
