Tried to gzip the .xml and upload
Still no love … gotta be a way to move this along.
Hey BRempfer,
What webhost are you using?
We can try to manually install the demo for you, I see the admin login is working, but we will also need FTP access, please include in the private content area.
Please note that you will lose all content and setting with a manual install.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
I uploaded all of the files for the demo, but I had some trouble uploading the database, it could be permission levels.
So the demo is mostly in place, you could start designing now. But if you want to iron out the last couple of images not showing in the demo you could try uploading the database in the Private Content area via PHPmyAdmin. If you do that you’ll also need to upload the wp-config.php in the zip, as your database tables were a different name than the ones in the file.
If you wish to work with it as is, and you want to see the demo images, they are all uploaded so you can download them. The database didn’t update them so they won’t show in the media library.
Hope this helped.
Best regards,
Mike
Having a similar issue installing the Enfold 2017 demo content. First tried to upload to a completely clean WP install. Didn’t work. The second time i received error messages stating that several “Media” directories already existed. Login info below, in private window.
Hi,
@ArloGraphic Thank you for the login.
Please ask your webhost to change your “PHP Post Max Size” & “PHP Max Upload Size” to 50M – right now it is 8M
Then please try using the WordPress Reset plugin to remove the failed demo import and then try again.
Can you recall what the error was the first time it didn’t work? Who is your webhost?
Best regards,
Mike
