I have taken over a web-site project which is currently using enfold theme 3.0.5 and wordpress 4.5.2. As mentioned in the FAQ, I need to update the version 3.5.4. I believe the earlier version of enfold theme is a demo version, so it has problem in updating to the latest version. As such, I have purchased a full licensed version of enfold 3.5.4. I have downloaded and install it into wordpress, however, it says the theme already exist and I cannot update.
May I know how should I proceed to update the theme? Currently, some content is missing in the website.
May 30, 2016 at 8:59 pm #640588Hey NGIM,
An update should fix any issues you are currently experiencing :)
To update to the latest version follow the simple instructions here. (Or if you want the super detailed explanation you can read this blog post)
If that does not help, feel free to reply here and we will take a closer look at the issue. In that case please also add your WordPress login credentials (in the “private data” field) so we can take a look at your admin area

Thank you for your prompt reply, I have followed the instruction However, it still does not work. Can you help to look at the set up? I believe that the previous enfold theme is not fully functional. I will put the wordpress log in credentials in the private field, thank you so much!

May 31, 2016 at 5:08 pm #640979Hi,
Thanks for getting back to us!
Have you tried uploading the updated theme files via FTP? Please could you also provide FTP login details or access to a cpanel in the private content section. Also place the Enfold version 3.5.4 somewhere we can find it on your server using FTP. We will try to update the theme for you.
Also while testing, are we allowed to disable any of the plugins you have installed?

I have uploaded the theme to the FTP. This is located here:

I will put the FTP details in the private content. Let me know what else you need. Thank you!

YigitJune 2, 2016 at 8:40 am #641906I have tested the log in details before I sent you. Do you use any FTP client (e.g. Filezilla) to connect to the FTP?
It maybe some copy and paste issue with the password or some FTP settings. Now I change to a easier password and you can try again. Can you try and if you face issues, can you tell me exactly what is the error message and the program you try to access FTP?
Thank you!June 2, 2016 at 1:25 pm #642043Hi,
I can only see the downloaded file on your server. Can you please change permissions so we can see your WordPress installation as well and update the theme via FTP? :)

YigitJune 10, 2016 at 4:25 pm #646264From your screeshot, I know the “Home” is showing correctly. However, the issue is with this url: http://ngim.org/donate/
Can you help me capture a screenshot of this url? It shows nothing besides the navigation bar. Thanks!
June 11, 2016 at 10:05 pm #646670Hi,
Sorry for the delay, Yes the donate page is blank and I can tell you most likely it is due to a plugin conflict. let us know if we have the permission to disable all plugins and check for the conflict or to find which plugin is causing the conflict please follow these steps:
1. Go to your plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
2. Update WordPress and Enfold to latest version if you have not.
3. Make sure all the plugins are updated.
4. If the problem does not persist when plugins are turned off, activate one plugin at a time and refresh until you find the plugin in conflict. We await the results of your plugin compatibility test.
Thanks for your cooperation :)
Best regards,
Vinay -
