    Hi guys,
    Strange behavior this morning from Enfold.
    I had a blog post I was working on and it had a photo element with a photo.
    I deleted the photo from the media library before I deleted it from the post, which is not published.
    The photo vanished from the back end as it should.
    I then inserted a new photo.
    The new photo shows up fine.
    When I do “page preview” after clearing the cache, the page preview shows the new photo and then right under it there is a tiny thumbnail which I assume is Enfold looking for the old photo and not finding it. Post is still in preview status and not published. Since i am using ALB I cannot “see” the code for the post to see if it’s still calling the old photo.

    How do I delete this phantom photo thumbnail? In the future I will make sure to delete it from the post before I delete from the library.

    Hey Rob,

    I believe it will be gone once post is published however if you do not mind, please post temporary admin logins and tell us how can we find the thumbnail :)

    Hi Yigit,

    I did publish it for a moment and the artifact / ghost is still there even when post is published.

    In the meantime I have created a duplicate post and am now working on that, but in the interest of potentially finding a bug or preventing this in the future I would appreciate it if you could check it out.

    See other thread I just posted (which is higher priority, I would say this is lower priority since I rebuilt the page and I think it’s definitely an Enfold bug) for login credentials.

    Thanks… I could not see the image element… how would I fix it myself in the future if I delete the image from the media library before I delete it from the ALB on the page? Just in case I make this same mistake again… ;)

    Hi Rob,

    If that happens again, you can simply edit your page and hover near the area where broken image shows up. Then you should be able to find empty image element, just as in my screenshot, and then you can simply remove it and update your page :)
