Hey LHSpin,
You can try a plugin like this to disable comments completely: https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-comments/

Hello,
Is a plug in my only option? I would like to avoid adding more plugins that as these can get hacked easily. Could there be an alternate solution, is there maybe a reason why only one would show comments and the rest be okay? Just trying to see my options here. Thanks
Hi,
If the plugin is poorly written or not frequently updated then yes, it might be hacked, but just because the code lives in a plugin doesn’t mean that it’s more or less likely to get hacked. WooCommerce is a plugin for instance, it seems to be doing fine. I run the plugin I linked to on several personal sites and I’ve never had any problems with it.
The reason why comments only show on one of your posts might be that you used the default editor to create it? If so please try creating your post in the Layout Builder instead.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hello,
Definitely understandable, I appreciate the feedback. We were just trying to look for an alternate solution.
I will try with Layout builder though, so thank you!
Hi,
Ok, no problem, I understand what you mean :-)
Please try the builder to see if that works out for you and let us know if you should need any further help on the topic.
Best regards,
Rikard
I re-built the blog with the builder and that seemed to have worked. Thank you!
