Hi:
I sent in a support ticket via the forum earlier about wanting to move the date and author line to appear above the title in the Enfold blog. In addition to that request, I have a few other questions/issues concerning the blog.1) I’m confused about how to use the Advanced Layout Builder for the blog posts. In order to get the header to appear on each individual blog page (as well as the main blog page), it appears that I need to use the Advanced Layout Builder. (Is that correct or is there another way?). The problem is that if I don’t use the regular TinyMice builder, I don’t see the Post title (I had to add that in the Advanced Layout Builder), nor do I see the date, author, social links, etc that an individual blog post is supposed to have. I want the easiest way to configure the individual blog pages so they 1) include the blog header and image, but also the post title and all the date/author/category/share/etc blog elements. How to achieve this?
*Note that only the “Blog Test Title” post was done in the Avia Layout Builder to make the blog header appear; all other posts were built with the TinyMice builder so their individual pages do not have a blog header (but they do include all the other blog meta).
2) When I click on a category, the posts do not include the Featured Image or the blog header… how can I get the Featured Image and the blog header to appear in the category listings?
3) In the current layout with small preview images, the featured image disappears on mobile — but I want to see it on both desktop and mobile. How can I configure that?
Thank you in advance for your help.

MikeDecember 3, 2017 at 1:15 am #884220Hi Mike:
I’m can’t try this just yet, but when I do, I have a few questions:1) I should add this to the functions file in the Child Theme, correct?
2) Right now in the blog, the author meta is disabled, as well as the comments section. Will this code allow me to turn those and other post features on and off in the Enfold theme options?
Thanks.
December 3, 2017 at 4:25 am #884242Hi,
Correct, you should add this to the child theme functions.php
I believe that because you have the author meta is disabled it will not show, this function only calls it but the Enfold theme options decide if it will be shown or not.Best regards,

I’m sorry but this is still not working. Please check it carefully. Or do the following steps.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
Best regards,

Still having the same issue of the posts created in Advance Layout Builder not showing the post title, featured imag
We modified the shortcode in the functions.php file. The post meta info are displaying properly now. Please note that you have to insert the featured image and the post title manually if you’re using the advance layout builder. Use the image element for the featured image and the special heading for the post title.

What is the name or slug of the custom post type? Why do you need to use different plugins to create the posts types?
Best regards,
IsmaelDecember 12, 2017 at 5:41 am #887714I don’t need different plugins; just one — right now I’m trying them both out to see which one works best with the theme.
Do you have a suggestion for a good custom post types plugin that works well with Enfold? Here is what I want to do:
• have a listing of White Papers with short description and Read More link for each
• have a custom post type for each White Paper with title, author, description, plus have a linked order form in the sidebar to get the White Paper emailed (so the form needs to be linked to the individual post)Ideally I’d like to use the Avia Layout Builder or at least a widget that I can identify with each White Paper for the form.
Similar site is here https://www.vantagepartners.com/white_papers.aspx. That’s the listing page, then here is a sample individual post page with form:http://info.vantagepartners.com/alignment-for-the-future-revisiting-your-alliance-strategy
The problems I’m having right now are that I can’t link the custom posts to the White Pages page… how do I show the list of custom posts? Also can’t get the Read more to appear.

We usually recommend the following plugin because it automatically register the custom post types or taxonomies in posts elements like blog posts or masonry.
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-post-type-ui/
Make sure that there are custom taxonomies.
