I developed my site locally using Instant WordPress and Enfold. All was fine. When I loaded the live site, all went well. However, now, only on one single page, I cannot edit using Avia editor. The circle keeps endlessly spinning on that page only. Everything else is fine.
Here’s what I did:
1. Updated WordPress to 4.3 – no effect.
2. Updated Enfold to 3.3.2 – no effect.
3. Updated Enfold using direct download – no effect.
4. Deleted the offending page, and re-wrote the entire content from scratch – no effect.
5. Disabled ALL plug ins – no effect.
6. Re-installed the entire site – no effect.
7. Attempted all of the above in various order – no effect.September 8, 2015 at 4:51 am #499643Hi MA09633!
Thank you for using Enfold.
If you are able to recreate the page then the issue returned once you put back all the content then one or a combination of the advance layout builder elements must be causing the issue. Please try to remove the elements one at a time to find the issue. Did you add any custom script or elements inside this page? Is the page somehow longer than usual pages?

IsmaelSeptember 8, 2015 at 2:48 pm #499893Hi.
The only way I am able to recreate the page is to go back to the local version, re-create the page, then migrate to the web server. I cannot recreate the page in the live environment because the Avia editor is stuck in and endless loop with the circle spinning around and around. I cannot edit the page at all. Answers and points as follows:
1. No, I didn’t add any custom scripts or elements to the page.
2. No, the page is not longer.
3. In fact, this page is one of 9 pages on the sub-menu in the services section of the site. Each of these 9 pages are structured exactly the same, using exactly the same content and layout elements from Avia. Nothing fancy. All the others with the same exact elements work fine.
4. I can’t go in and delete elements one at a time because I can’t edit the page.
5. Since all of the other pages with exactly the same standard layout, structure and elements work fine, I don’t think it is the elements.Hope you can help.
September 9, 2015 at 8:49 am #500224Hey!
What if you recreate the page from scratch? Remove the current page then create another one while you’re on the latest version. There’s an error but we’re not exactly sure what’s causing it:
http://firstmarksolutions.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404
Cheers!
IsmaelSeptember 9, 2015 at 5:47 pm #500637Hi!
Thanks for continuing to help.
VERY INTERESTING result here.
1. I deleted the page in the live version of the site.
2. I re-built using the Advanced Layout Builder
3. I use the following elements on this page and nine others: 1) 2 grid blocks, 2) three text blocks, 3) 4 whitespace lines, 4) on icon list, 5) a full-width button, and 6) a full width sub-menu.
4. After each element I added, I clicked “Save Draft”
5. I was near the end of adding elements with all working fine. When I got to the first text box it hung up and went to endless loop after I saved.
6. I deleted and started again. This time going straight to the text box (which is within the grid block).
7. I added the heading and body text. Clicked save. Hung up again.
8. I deleted and started again. This time going straight to the text box and only adding the heading (I put in the heading in the “TEXT” option rather than the Viewer). Hung up again. Was using text to add <h4></h4> heading.
9. Tried again, this time not using TEXT editor, but VIEWER, same thing happened when I tried to use the <h4></h4> heading.
10. Tried again. This time with no heading, but pasted in content from a word document that I used to temporarily park content from the page. Hung up gain.
11. Tried again. This time by manually typing all content in the VIEWER section of the text block. So far it worked.
12. Went into the text block under VIEWER and tried to add the header using <h4>MY TEXT</h4> clicked save draft. Hung up again.
13. So clearly what’s causing this problem is that I cannot add headers using HTML code like <h4> which hangs it up either in VIEWER or TEXT editing mode. I can’t have a site where I can’t add headers! This isn’t a problem on any other page, but will now happen whenever I try to add headers. SO my option is to not use headers (unacceptable) or to be unable to edit pages. Not a good set of choices. Can you help? Thanks so much!
September 10, 2015 at 9:19 am #500843Hi,
I couldn’t see any problem with the backend for the obvious reason, it’s not loading. I added a test page (Kriesi test) and added a text block with an h4 inside of it but it seems to be working fine, what other steps would be needed to reproduce the issue?
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 10, 2015 at 6:42 pm #501266I was able to get in your page and save it like it is with no problem. So I deleted your page and tried again on my own to create a simple page with nothing but a text box and enter h4 header. It worked fine.
However, when I go to add more voluminous content in the text box, it locks up. I tried the following:
1.I cut an paste a paragraph of text from a word document into the visual editor in the text box you created. It locked up.
2. I tried again, this time manually typing in (rather than cutting and pasting the text into the box). Locked up.
3. I tried again, this time just changing the header text you entered. Locked up on save.
4. I created a new page and created your simple h4 header in text box. No problem. Then changed the header to “The Difference Between FINRA Rules 3120 and 3130” – locked up on save.
5. I started again, a new page, and just the text box with my h4 Header “The Difference between FINRA Rules 3120 and 3130” – locked up on save.
So you know, I completely re-installed Word Press 4.3. And downloaded a fresh version of Enfold, current from Themeforest and installed new. Still doesn’t fix it.
So it seems like the text box with a level of complexity locks it up.September 11, 2015 at 8:29 am #501468Hey,
I’m not sure about that, I’ve seen a lot of text block elements with a lot more complexity working just fine and no other users have reported an issue similar to this either. I’m not sure what is added to text copied from Word, but try creating a new page and before you paste the text into the text block, try pasting it into a “stupid” text editor like notepad first. Hope that helps.
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm #501590I have the same issues some time recently. On just 1 or 2 pages
One thing I noticed works OK for a while is to make a draft of the existing page.
• so I have a page where the Advance Editor does not load – just showing the spinning wheel
• I create a draft from within the page or in the page overview list
• the page editor now loads fine – but it might happen again a few days or hours later. So I make another draft – I am up to draft 5 now.September 11, 2015 at 1:41 pm #501616What I said was that it locked up whether I copied from Word or whether I manually entered text using the Avia editor. Either way, my Enfold is not working properly, and I’ve re-loaded multiple times. Your comment about others not experiencing it is negated by the post immediately above. This thread has been going on and on and on, yet no one seems to have the answer. Is there another level of support, as this is a real problem. I would simply switch to another theme, except that I have over 120 hours in the site that I’ve developed. So I’m stuck here with no answers. And the last post you made indicates you really didn’t read my very detailed description of the problem. Is there a supervisory support person that this can be escalated to?
September 11, 2015 at 1:42 pm #501619Also, Rikard – If you read the prior posts, I have 9 identical pages, all with complex text blocks, this is the only page that is causing this problem.
September 11, 2015 at 1:59 pm #501628Another thing that just happened. When I create a new page and put an H4 heading in the text box under visual editor, save as draft, then try to go in and open the text box I get this:
An error occured
XError fetching content – please reload the page and try again
September 11, 2015 at 2:15 pm #501641Even though I am not able to replicate all of MA09633’s issues, I did have a quick look in the source code to see if I used the h4 headers anywhere and they are in the icon list, which I think might be the only place I have used them on the site so far.
I did try an add a text box with an h4 header, but it did not break it, but then again – the page tends to run for a little while before it quits and I have to make a new draft. I can replicate the issue at will.
It might not be h4 at all, but that is the one thing I did pick up.
September 11, 2015 at 2:25 pm #501647At this point, I am unable to add pages or posts to my live site. I must do it in a local version and migrate to the online version. This is a disaster.

September 12, 2015 at 4:00 am #501933Hey!
Can you please ask your hosting provider to create a php info page? We would like to check it. I tried to login but I got locked out:
You are temporarily locked out
You have been temporarily locked out of this system. This means that you will not be able to sign-in or use several other features that may compromise security. Please try back in a short while.
Return to the site home page
Attempt to return to the admin login page (you may still be locked out)If you are a site administrator and have been accidentally locked out, please enter your email in the box below and click “Send”. If the email address you enter belongs to a known site administrator or someone set to receive Wordfence alerts, we will send you an email to help you regain access. Please read this FAQ entry if this does not work.
Please try to disable all plugins then create a page again, see if that helps.
Cheers!
IsmaelSeptember 12, 2015 at 8:31 am #501990Sorry – I posted earlier that I reloaded the entire site so I sent you a new login. I have added you again below. Also, your PHP link is below.
NOTE: As I have said before, I’ve had this problem with ALL plugins disabled, so that’s not the issue.
Please help.
September 13, 2015 at 8:26 am #502216Hey,
I get the same error message as Ismael, could you try to disable the WordFence plugin while we’re testing please?
Thanks,
RikardSeptember 13, 2015 at 12:20 pm #502291Done as requested. Also, tested your login and it is working.
September 14, 2015 at 11:14 am #502603Hi!
I’m getting this error when trying to log-in to your site:
503 Service Temporarily Unavailable
Regards,
JosueSeptember 17, 2015 at 6:09 am #504506I’m not getting that error. I was able to log in. Can you try again and let me know if you still have the problem and If so will check with my hosting service? Thanks.
September 17, 2015 at 11:12 am #504631Hi,
Login seems to be working just fine now, thanks for that. I created a test page (link in private) with a text block and an h4 element inside of it and it seems to be working as expected. We drifted off topic a bit so hopefully back on track again; do you have a step by step on how to reproduce the error you are getting? I can see it on the initial page you linked but it would be good for us to be able to reproduce it to see where things go wrong.
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 20, 2015 at 10:28 pm #506150As I said above, all you need to do to reproduce the issue is:
1. Create new page.
2. Convert to advanced layout editor
3. Add a text box and go into the editor for the text box.
4. Insert this using the visual editor: <h4>The Difference Between FINRA Rules 3120 and 3130</h4>
5. Click “Save Draft”
It goes into endless loop.September 21, 2015 at 6:01 am #506207Replying to this thread because our site just had this happen when a new page was being built. The layout builder won’t load on ANY of the site’s pages, and the slider on the home page is completely broken. I can’t even remove the broken slider because I can’t access the layout builder.
Deleting the page that was being built didn’t help anything. Disabling pugins doesn’t help.
Please help!

September 23, 2015 at 8:55 pm #508075Hi guys,
Any progress on this? I’m really hoping that we can get this fixed.
Thanks.
September 23, 2015 at 9:33 pm #508080Looks like I was lucky. Updating Enfold solved the problem for me. I hope they can get you sorted, Mao
September 23, 2015 at 10:49 pm #508103Hey!
Glad you got it shorted.
