Hello Enfold Team, I have 2 issues with the mobile Version of my Website (www.dj-ef.de) and I hope you can help me out.
Issue 1: The Video I have below the Bio section is an 15 sec mp4 muted Auto Play Video which is running well on the Desktop Version and on an Android mobile verison.but NOT on the Mobile Version using an IPhone. Instead of displaying the Video like on Android, when using an IPhone (IOS14.6) the website is showing a very dark pict (the pict at the start of the video) only. Can you please help us solving this ? My Webdesigner tried many tricks, but none of them worked.
Issue 2: Only on mobile Version as well and only with iPhone – Moving from the media subpage to contact (main page) is not working, so when I am in the media suboage on my iPhone and I click the menu bar and choose ”contact”, the site does not jump to the main page contact section.
Your support is highly appreciated. We are struggling with These issues for a month now.
Thanks and regards, Elie

Thank yo for the inquiry.
1.) Please note that background videos are disabled on mobile devices by default. You should find this note or info in the Styling > Background Video > Hide on mobile devices? option.
Hide video on Mobile Devices?
You can choose to hide the video entirely on Mobile devices and instead display the Section Background image
Most mobile devices can’t autoplay videos to prevent bandwidth problems for the user2.) In the link, you have to include the actual site URL plus the anchor.
Example:
http://site.com/#anchor

Thanks for the feedback. Please see my comment below.Issue 1:
a- I Apparently this is an enfold issue with IOS as I can see with my Iphone muted video from other Websites (using other Themes) and here is an example: http://www.djangelo.co.uk.
So my question here: Is this something Enfold is looking for to resolve in the near future ?b- My Web designer could not hide the video on mobile devices as per your instruction, could you please take a look in the Back-End, maybe you will find out the reason and help us with that ?
Issue 2: My Web designer followed here the instruction as well but could not succeed. Can you please have a look if I provide you the log in and password ?
Thanks and regards, Elie
August 20, 2021 at 12:11 pm #1317617Hi,
Thank you for the update.
1.) This is the intended behavior of background videos on mobile view due to the reason mentioned above. This is also why a fallback image is required. You might be able to use the layer slider if you want your background videos to still play on mobile view.
2.) Did you purge the cache after enabling the Hide video on Mobile Devices option? You should also try to check the site on incognito mode. And do not forget to add a background image because this is supposed to replace the video on mobile view.
You can also hide the whole element on mobile view by adjusting the Element Visibility options in the Advanced > Responsive Settings toggle.

We get a privacy connection error when we try to access the site above. Please ensure that the site certificate is correct.
The video is working correctly but it is not visible because the layer’s visibility settings are disabled on all devices.

Thank you for the update.
The video is working correctly but it is not visible because the layer’s visibility settings are disabled on all devices.
As mentioned previously, we already edited the visibility options of the video layer and it is now displaying properly on mobile screens. Please check the screenshots below.
